Luigi's Pizza & Gyros — Restaurant in Lawton

As much as I love love love Luigis I’m gonna have to put this as a 3/5 when I got stationed here 3 years ago I thought I found the most amazing place ever... and year by year their prices started rising but their quality of food is suffering. Sad to say today will be my last time eating here just not up to par anymore..

1 Nov 24: I dont remember when I went the last time but…. Gees this place has seriously fell off in my personal opinion… Restaurant was very clean had no one in it I was there for about an hour there was 3/4 people that went in and one was a vendor so yeah. The place was a ghost town crazy for “one of the pizza best pizza places” in Lawton. The Sub was decent, sauce is a lil weird, the chicken taste like it was defrosted (not completely sure but it didn’t taste like freshly breaded chicken) the bread was the best part not soft but not brick churchy. Now price… I paid 19 and some change for a chicken parmigiana sub and a drink….. I honestly don’t mind spending money on amazing food but this missed by miles. My honest opinion it’s sub-par 3 stars on a great day at best. It’s extremely over priced especially for Lawton, Oklahoma. So yeah that will be my last visit I tried to give it another chance but yeah it definitely didn’t...

I would give 1 star, but my husband really liked the pizza.

The gyro was not good. Way too much sauce and no flavor. I also ordered a slice of gyro pizza and they gave me a piece that couldn't have been made any sooner than 4 hours ago. It was disgusting and petrified. I would be ashamed to serve that to someone.

My gyro and salad had giant quartered roma tomatoes on them. Im talking 4 bites worth of tomato. Salads are not meant to be eaten with a knife.

The staff was very loud/distracting and started putting up chairs and closing the lobby while we were still eating. We left 15 minutes before they closed, so its not like they were being held up. They had turned off the soda machine as well and had to turn it back on so I could refill my drink.

The whole restaurant did not smell very fresh and the bathrooms have signs that you can't flush toilet paper.

Let’s start- •Pros: nice little building, looks clean on the outside, service, side salad

•Cons: -Pricing-there is no way the prices here are justifiable, $15 for a bowl of spaghetti noodles with meat sauce, $4 for a slice of pizza, the drink you have to purchase separately. Over $50 for two people to eat lunch -Food- spaghetti w/ meat sauce had 2 different colors of sauce, brown and red. Meat was grainy, noodles were not fully cooked served in a tinfoil bowl. Made my wife and I both sick. slice of pizza served on a paper plate - sauce was that of canned tomato sauce, nothing special whatsoever . -Presentation- all dishes are disposable here, so being served a $50 meal on paper plates is not the way to go.
