Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Layton

Literal trash. Got notice that my order was ready for pick up, upon arrival I had to wait 15 minutes. During that wait, the individual making my order mentioned to his coworker that he had some concerns about what order he was making. His coworker, told him “just give it to him.” Mind you, I’m a cis woman 😂 but okayy. I approach the counter and asked if they needed any clarification. The guy said “oh no. I got confused on what order I was making. I assure you, it’s correct. Cali club.” I get my order and drive home. Order was so wrong. I’m talking everything was wrong on the sandwich. I ordered a Cali club, mikes way with mayo pickles and banana peppers. I got lettuce, turkey and cheese. That’s literally it 😂 I drove back. Addressed the issue. And the girl wanted to get attitude with me. I expressed how I understood how it is to be stressed in the food industry but lying to my face when I gave both of them the opportunity to be honest and correct any mistake, is unacceptable. They reluctantly offered to fix it by taking back the order which I had already took home, opened and had one bite out of and immediately she uses the same utensils behind the counter and smears mayo, and puts it back in the mayo container!! Now contaminating the entire bucket. I had already touched and opened my sandwich… that’s disgusting. So if that’s a regular practice 🤢🤮 Anyways- she issued my refund after getting mad that I asked for one and I was not mean, I am not usually confrontational. And I’m actually quite shy. But I paid a lot of money for this order and left a tip. Lying to my face and than getting attitude when I just wanted a rightful refund, was annoying. Will never come to this location again. The other Layton location near winco has always been the BEST service and quality. I will always drive to that one now just to avoid the horrible service...

I really wish I had grabbed her name for the sake of the review but I just want to reach out to give a five-star compliment for top notch service from the younger girl I want to say she's probably right around 19-20ish. She was working Saturday February 17th at 6:00 p.m... my home state is Florida and I am very used to Southern hospitality so it's been quite a struggle in Utah over the five years I've been here with just a mass majority of workers and restaurants never smile aren't very polite or friendly and always to be quite wanting very miserable but not here... This is the first place in an extremely long time I have been to that from the minute I walked in the atmosphere was very inviting and unbelievably friendly in a genuine tone. I don't know if you give out special bonuses or anything to your employees but this girl definitely deserves one because she was honestly like I said the first person that I have seen that friendly in years. I will definitely be back to...

Man. What can I say about this place the crew working tonight 12/15/2023, blew it out of the ball park. Legit they deserve raises for their hustle and customer service. My first time at jersey mikes and man, I didn’t even know what to get. The homie at the front recommended a cold sammich, I’m now home and slammed it. Great recommendation. It hit the spot. He was so polite and just so nice about all of it and everyone around too, not to mention we were walking out and the manager gave us a free sandwich coupon on the way out. I mean…. They were so nice!!!! Thanks so much for making my experience so amazing guys. Y’all deserve a raise big time! it’s been awhile receiving genuine and authentic...
