I've been getting marcos a lot over this past year and it's become a favorite of mine. I used to be a manager at the Skyline Dominos location and it pales in comparison to quite a few aspects of marcos. I've only ordered delivery twice so majority of the times have been takeout and the staff have always been friendly, the building has always been very clean, communication was clear, timeliness of my order was pretty quick considering how difficult my pizza always is, and the quality of the food has always been fantastic. Ordering online is very easy and they updated it recently so it's even easier to navigate and customize everything without going back and forth between multiple areas so I love using their website to order, with the updated version as well, they've made it easy to adjust how much you want of the toppings you want and what you don't want, what you want to substitute, etc. and I've had an account with them for months as well. I get the same pizza every time which is a very over customized vegetarian pizza and it is delicious every time. My parents get some kind of variation of their specialty chicken pizzas (yesterday my mom accidentally put she wanted thick crust instead of thin and called the store and the woman was really nice and you could hear her tell everyone "that pizza that came up that says thick crust, don't make it, it's supposed to be thin!" Then called my mom sweetie and it was really cute and not condescending. Made me laugh lol). And my boyfriend always gets the specialty pepperoni pizza which he loves every time. We've also gotten before the buffalo boneless wings, breadsticks, and cinnabites which were also all really good. (Also bought drinks from there but they're just in the cooler lol) If there was ever a problem with my order, the staff was nice and fixed it immediately and didn't treat me like I was inconveniencing them. I've had before sauces break and they just gave me new ones. Yesterday, we had ordered breadsticks and all the sauces were in the bag with those and one of my garlic cups broke spilling onto the breadsticks and I honestly thought they'd just put the breadsticks in a new bag and give me new sauces because it's just garlic sauce on breadsticks but they made fresh breadsticks and gave me new sauces! Before I left the store, I spoke with Nathan for a bit who's one of the delivery drivers and he's very kind, doesn't rush you when talking, and is eager to assist customers (he's the reason I got brand new breadsticks), and that's honestly really nice to see since a lot of people are burnt out and don't care anymore which honestly I understand as well, it sucks especially when you want a good experience, but I understand. Got home, ate some of my pizza, as usual it was delicious (I got a small and I have enough to eat later today. I eat my pizza over the course of 2-3 days depending on the sizes I get). That's all I can remember for now but I'm honestly surprised I haven't written a review until today but here it is. Highly recommend stopping by if you want to try a new...
Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars. This was the worst experience I have had at a Pizza spot since moving to Utah. Our family ordered 6 pizzas 3 hours early for pickup so that it could be scheduled and on time. Got the notification that the pizzas were ready on time at 6:40. Walked in, they said they were still waiting on two of the pizzas. Almost 10 minutes later, the pizzas were done. The kid went to pick up all 6 pizzas together… and dropped them. Didn’t say a word, just got angry and went back to the kitchen. My husband text me as I was waiting in the car with our baby that he wasn’t exactly sure what they were doing because they ended up putting 3 of the pizzas back on the rack ( not under any heat) but they hadn’t said anything to him. So I went in and said if they were remaking 3, they all needed to be remade since the other 3 would be cold by the time the others were done. The cashier told the kid in the kitchen and he threw a fit. Yelling that it wasn’t his fault and he didn’t drop the damn pizzas. Mind you, he was only cutting the pizzas so it’s not even like he had to do anything. We sat there listening to this kid complain and yell about everything. 40 minutes after our pizzas were supposed to be done the kid yells my husbands name with an attitude (like it was his fault that they dropped the pizzas?!). We got home and 3 of the pizzas were not even ours!!!!! Tried calling, was automatically put on hold and then I gave up after 17 minutes of no one coming back to the phone. The worst experience ever and there supposedly a manager there that was doing absolutely nothing. Tried to contact someone about this, the back of the receipt says to see the front for survey instructions, yet there is absolutely no information there! Can’t get in contact with anyone about this. Will...
Read moreI love Marco's Pizza but I will not go to the Ft Lane location again. I had ordered online from work to pick up a couple pizzas on my way home and requested curbside delivery. I got there 5 minutes early and called to let them know I had arrived. The person that answered the phone said they hadn't started the pizzas yet. I told her they were supposed to be ready in 5 minutes and asked for them to be brought out when they were done. Then she backtracked and said they were in the oven. She said that I needed to push the button on the app for curbside assistance. I told her the website said I only needed to call when I arrived and I didnt have the app. Then she said they weren't doing curbside because they were so busy. I was the only car in the parking lot. She kept me on hold for awhile and then asked what I had decided to do. I told her I was waiting for curbside delivery. She said they don't offer curbside and I said I had selected it on the website when I ordered. I asked to speak to someone else. It was obvious by now that she was lying and saying whatever she could to not have to bring out my pizza. After I asked to speak to someone else, she said she'd bring it out but wanted me to know she was doing it just for me and that it's not a service they offer. Right on my receipt it said 'Curbside Delivery.' Very disappointed that something as simple as picking up a pizza could turn into something so unpleasant. If you don't offer curbside, don't have it on the website. Another tip: get employees who actually know a thing or two about customer service...
