I'd give 0 stars if I could. Allow me to explain. To deal with such atrocities I usually relieve my stress by describing my experience with far too many off color and insulting jokes. In this case I am left to describe the terrible work habits and the filth of the McDonalds in Layton Walmart. My son and I had done some light shopping and decided to get a âquickâ bite to eat. That would be 2 hamburgers and 2 spicy McChicken's. No special orders. We immediately noticed the overflowing trash cans and the disgusting floors throughout the restaurant. The spilled garbage around the soda machine, the unwiped surfaces all over the restaurant. The scattered receipts and the stale French fry at the ordering station. The state of the entire restaurant was completely unwelcoming and nasty, Our regular order took 20 minutes to receive. We got home only to find loose French fries in the bottom of the bag. We didnât order fries. These fries were smart. They were trying to escape. To use the excuse of being âshort staffedâ or short handed is inexcusable in this case, when there are 2 employees standing around doing nothing and the restaurant was not at all busy. It was as if I had to interrupt their leisure time to get my simple order. I was not greeted but hollered at from behind the unwiped plexiglas. This restaurant has weaponized inefficiency, bad manners, and wouldnât know a washcloth and mop if it slapped them in the face. Sadly, this is not the only McDonaldâs location where I had this similar experience. McDonalds, what happened? How the mighty have fallen! The once most successful amazing fast food restaurant serving billions of satisfied happy customers has become a washed up has-been, a depressing distant memory of what once was. Not only does it show in your restaurant but also in the morale of your workers. My first job was at McDonalds. And I donât remember it ever being like this. We worked our tails off for minimum wage! Not $12.00 an hour! Get...
Read moreAMAZING NUGGETS! Yummy food, really. However, one of the workers was very rude, delivered horrible service, and displayed a very entitled attitude.
This employee was asked by several customers for a lid (the lid dispenser was out), to which the employee looked at the customers for a long moment, then extended the sleeve of lids toward them. They took a lid and walked away. A Walmart employee on lunch went to the counter and asked for a lid, and this particular McDonaldâs employee (not in uniform but street clothes), handed him the sleeve and asked his customer âwhy donât you fill up the dispenser?â The Walmart employee walked away from him in a huff.
We could also hear him berating his coworkers on how they were working (he just walked around and talked loudly). The most I saw him do was take an order to a table, but he placed the bags in their shopping cart instead of handing it to the customers. One member of the group reached out, offering to take the bags. The McDonaldâs guy handed them roughly to the customer and said âyeah, you take them.â
I would go here again for food, but Iâll steer clear of...
Read moreFood was either cold or it was made very poorly. I ordered an iced mocha latte, which by the way was right on their menu. The woman taking my order said okay and I paid. When the woman called my number, I walked up and she begins to hand me a mocha frappe. I politely told her that I did not order that, and that I had ordered the iced mocha coffee. She then said that they don't sell that there at all, so I showed her where it was on the menu board, and she just looked at me blankly. I told her I'd take the drink, but that they really should take the iced mocha latte off of the menu if they don't even sell it. And she agreed with me and I left lol. Honestly, the few times I've gone there for something quick while running errands or if the kiddos are hungry while we're out, it's always usually mediocre. The service is terrible, the workers barely know what they're doing and the food could be prepared a little better and actually be...
