I've been here twice and really enjoy the food. It's a typical Mongolian grill, where you load up bowls with raw meats, veggies, pastas and sauces and take them up to cooks who toss them together on a huge round iron griddle. There is a huge selection of proteins; lamb, beef, chicken, BBQ chicken, pork, BBQ pork, shrimp, scallops, octopus, tofu, and imitation crab. An impressive amount of fresh veggies; bok choy, Napa cabbage, purple cabbage, celery, carrots, peas, zucchini, mushrooms, sprouts, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, cilantro, mini corn, garlic, green pepper, jalapeños, broccoli and more. And a variety of sauces; sizzle, BBQ, pineapple, ginger, cooking wine, sesame oil, chili, garlic, teriyaki, house, etc... Be sure to sauce it up, because that's what flavors your dish! The cooks are friendly and good at what they do and they'll let you fill up multiple bowls to be tossed together. After cooking your food, you can top with a number of things including sesame seeds, fried Wontons, crispy noodles and crushed peanuts. I definitely recommend this place. It's quite busy which is a good sign. They also bring you an egg roll, rice and a fortune cookie, which is included in the price. I do not recommend the extra appetizers, however as I have twice ordered the cheese crab Wontons and both times have been disappointed...

This all you can eat Mongolian grill (they have a traditional menu too but I'm going to assume you're interested in the former) has a wide variety of meats, noodles, veggies, and sauces that make me think of hot pot in a good way. Seafood is also available later in the day I think, but I dont eat seafood. I'm pretty sure I saw shrimp and octopus once though.
The all you can eat price is very reasonable (come hungry), and you get some basic fried rice, 1 egg roll per person, and some kind of soup. Drink selection is lacking however, especially if you want diet soda (diet coke only). No wifi is offered, and a basic dining area with comfortable booths. Very much WYSIWYG.
If you're reading this review to compare this place to the other Mongolian grill nearby, this one is in a whole different league.
Note: While a decent variety of vegetables are offered, I wouldn't call this place vegetarian or vegan friendly. Everyone's choices are on a large griddle and theirs may touch yours.
Also, their bathrooms are technically clean, but I feel they could use more attention. I'm nitpicking though, I struggle to...
Read moreI'm not sure how often they clean the grilling surface, because all we tasted was CHARCOAL. 4.2 rating? This can't be serious. Notice in the photo of the little styrofoam bowl of fried rice? It also is pitch black as well. I wish I would have gotten pictures of the spring rolls because they were ALMOST burnt.
Do not sit up towards the front of the store if you insist on going. Something is continually thrown against the West Wall, from within the store to the West. I first thought we had been seated next to a trampoline park, because the noise and vibration was so intense. No idea what Papa Murphy's is doing against that wall. And of course the security light will flash on and off constantly.
As people go in and out of the door the light turns on and off and if you're seated directly under it when you raise your fork to your mouth the light goes off.
The grill just ISN'T cleaned, no matter what sauces you put on it, it tastes like charcoal. The fried rice tasted like charcoal the spring rolls were very very dark and tasted like charcoal.
Now if you're after that nostalgic scouting experience, for the folks that have gone camping and have eaten food that has fallen in the...
