Jasmine Chinese Cuisine and Sushi — Restaurant in Leesburg

As much as I do not like to give poor reviews for food I have to give this review because of the poor service I have received today. Each time I order food from here I order the same thing and my bill has fluctuated each time. So this last time I order food I wanted to address the situation and the Manager on duty Mike could not help. He said there was nothing he could do about it. Please keep in mind that I have been coming here for some time now and even use the restaurant for company events. He did he has been getting a lot of call about this but can do nothing about it. He would rather lose a good standing customer then fix it. When I asked to speak to his manager or the owner who I have spoken to many time as well as her son he said there is no number or email to reach her. He further said if there is a problem he would be the one to fix it. Well, I want the owners to know that you might want to find another fixer because I think you are losing customers because if Mike. The food was already made and he would not void it and charge us for the amount that we are usually chartered. Whatever happened to the customer is always right. Mike even had a nerve to laugh and carry a smug look on his face while the rest of his staff stood around and watched. This is very poor management and example to the staff. I even asked if this was to happen to him what would he do and he just smiled like as if he was saying he is sticking to me. I order here multiple times in a week and he claimed that he knows us but I find that very untrue because when we call in the staff that usually answer the phone knows it’s us just by what I order and immediately greets us with a HELLO how are we doing. This was a horrible experience for me and my husbands because we finally found a place that we like. Somewhat deceitful. We requested of the restaurant the ability to bring it organic roosters from our butcher in Brooklyn for the restaurant chef to prepare us a special meal. The Owner or Manager Ms. Ming called us telling us that she had 'submitted our request to the Loudon Co Health Department who refused on the grounds that the meat was not coming from a licensed vendor'. I work in the public health industry so I called Loudon Co. Agent Rinku myself. She told me that no one called her and that a NYC licensed slaughterhouse was acceptable to her agency. Next I presented Ms. Ming with these facts. She now changed her tune admitting that she had NOT called in this instance because she already had submitted such requests to the Health Department in the past. So on this point she was either simply lazy and/or deceitful. Then Ms. Ming revealed her chef did not want the responsibility of cooking roosters. That is his prerogative, and we respect this. I cannot understand why she would use deceit hiding behind an easily discovered lie rather than tell us the simple truth. Although I gave her ample opportunity to apologize afterwards, she did not make any attempt nor show any contrition. I am disappointed and wonder what this suggests in her business operations. Update as of 5/2- My husband and I ordered Extra Crispy & Spicy Honey Chicken on Tuesday for lunch, and it was fabulous. We had it delivered, I was so impressed. The food was literally steaming, it was still so hot when it arrived. We only live about 10 minutes from Jasmines, but sometimes driving downtown isn't the most convenient. Everything was delicious! This will continue to be our go to restaurant for some of the best Chinese dishes in Leesburg!

We order takeout from Jasmines all the time! Their Lunch Special cannot be beat! Recently we ordered quite a large lunch and everything was perfect. My husband had extra crispy honey chicken, I had Kung pao chicken, and my mother-in-law had the walnut shrimp. We all had small order requests/changes, and everything came as requested! I did try all 3 of the dishes because we are a family that shares, and all 3 orders were delicious!
