We hosted our wedding at RoofTop Lehi and it was the perfect space for our winter wedding. We had our ceremony in the skylight room and then the reception followed to their grand room. The courtyard was stunning for pictures and the rooms offer lots of natural light for amazing photos. The golf simulator was a great bonus (paid extra for it but it was worth it). The reason why I give this venue 4 starts instead of 5 was because of the lack of competence from their on-site coordinator on our big day. When we needed her, she was gone and when we didn't need her, she disrupted. What upset me the most is that after our ceremony my husband and I were reading our vows privately in the bridal room. We locked the door so people knew not to come in. Instead, the on-site coordinator knocked on the door. I opened it because I thought this was an emergency situation. All she asked is if she should put heaters out in the courtyard. This is something that should be self explanatory as it is winter and she noticed our guests were outside taking pictures. I told her she can put the heaters out. She never ended up putting the heaters out. Not sure why. The reception/cocktail hour was way too lit and the lights were so bright making the mood too exposed. I told my maid of honor to find the coordinator to turn the lights down and she said that the coordinator was on it. 10 minutes later, the lights were still super bright. Our wedding party was trying to find her and she was nowhere to be seen. She then popped up later and I told her to dim the lights and she FINALLY did. Overall, The RoofTop is a wonderful place to host your event as it is a beautiful space and a convenient location. The price is reasonable for what they offer (linens, centerpieces, altar, tables, seating, sound system, sideshow options, great texting communication to answer any questions you may have before the day). The ONE thing that really bummed us out was the lack of attentiveness from their on-site coordinator on the day. If you are thinking about hosting your event here, just be aware of that and ask a lot of questions and be very clear with what you will need from their on-site...
Read moreAs far as the venue itself goes, beautiful. The staff, RIDICULOUS. We were one of the first people to book our wedding at this venue and when we did so we were given expense expectations that later got larger and larger. They told us they had the PERFECT color of linens that matched my bridesmaid dresses perfectly and then called me later to say they didn’t actually have it and I had to choose something else that we ended up not even using anyways which they charged us extra for after we were told in the beginning that all of our linens were included in our rental cost. They gave us one set of rules for the golf lounge at the beginning and as time went on they changed and it was basically pointless to spend the money renting it. Every time we met with them we had discussed that I needed the venue for a few more hours than our contracted time because they will not allow vendors in until your rental period begins. They charged us $150 for every extra hour. Not allowing vendors in before an event is almost unheard of. On the wedding day, the staff was impossible to find and we kept on having issues with their sound system that no one could fix and no one could find the person who was supposed to be working there. Whenever a question arose, we were left to figure it out on our own. By the end of it we had paid quite a bit more than we were originally told. When I asked if our deposit had been refunded, they accidentally refunded our entire amount and now want us to get them a check which will require my dad having to leave work early to do so. They are taking $100 off which in my mind is a significantly small amount considering all of the times they screwed up. The amazing florist I worked with had done a wedding at this venue a few weeks prior and also said they were pretty pathetic to work with. She is one of the most sought after florists in the state. Overall, it was close to the worst experience you could get with a wedding vendor. Do not...
