Barra Brava Sport Bar Lewisville — Restaurant in Lewisville

I recently visited Barra Bravo and had a disappointing experience related to their security personnel. My daughter and I were enjoying our margarita flights for several hours without any issues. However, a situation arose when a new customer was denied entry for not having an ID, which seemed to cause some agitation with the security staff.

Later, I stepped outside to take a phone call, and upon re-entering, the security guard requested to see my ID. I explained that it was in my purse, which I had left at my table near the entrance. As I proceeded to retrieve it, the security guard followed me closely, which felt unnecessarily confrontational. Despite showing my ID clearly and holding it up for him to see for several minutes, the guard refused to check it. This was particularly frustrating as both my adult daughter and I had been there for hours by then.

This experience felt disrespectful and discriminatory, impacting our overall experience negatively.

Well this will vacant again soon. I love tacos so tried it.. 5 very over weight girls there in cloths they should have skipped out on and they don't give a care that your there or to offer any service... 10 min to get a drink. Ordered street tacos beef. Very little flavor but a fair portion of meat. Was not offered any different sauce, cheese, sour cream or anything that normally is offered. Did not come with limes either. All seams odd. The positive is they have probly 50 high top tables(chairs are to tall for) but plenty of space only my table and two others. Great virw tvs. I am sure they will close soon if they don't get some better service, treat customers like they want them there, and step up their game on options. Went to see the fight, and horrible, not tables inside, so go to the patio, try to order a cocktail and denied cause they can't seel them outside in the patio, I chose this place because I want it to enjoy the fight with a drink, ending drinking water , time for my food to arrive 25 minutes later , the waitress yeah treat you good but she was more focused on big groups, food so so not more to choose any more is more like chiken nuggets than real Mexican style food , disappointment, expensive as hell ,not coming back anymore , they did all they could to take me outside, told my husband pay all this money yo be treated like this could do it at house and better...
