Hot Head Burritos — Restaurant in Lima

My Grandaughter works here so had to try it but give honest review! Ordered the Sweet Habanaro and the Hawaiian bowels with chips.I understand they are a new establishment so there are going to be some mistakes. My dish had no Sweet Habanaro or cheese making it very bland! The Hawaiian was very good and the chips were good but salsa should come with it! Will definitely try them again.All the employees were very courteous and made you feel welcomed!

Return visit: went for Taco Tuesday and was a little disappointed! This is just a suggestion but if you could list what type of meats are available for tacos that would be nice.There is nothing listed on the board and looking at the meat was hard to tell what it was. Also if the shell was warm would be better because the meat isn't very hot then putting cool veggies on top makes it cold.Ordered the chips and they were extremely salty and salsa should come with them automatically!These are only my opinions and hope you don't...

In short: Incredibly slow staff, nonsensical restaurant layout, mediocre and overpriced food.

I placed an online order, got to the restaurant 25 minutes later. No order on the shelf.

I try to tell a cashier by going up to the counter. She turns and wanders away to the back.

So I get in line, wait 15 minutes, and finally get to the front. In that time, maybe 1 customer had been served. The line was glacially slow.

I finally get to the front and tell two of the workers I was there for an online order. Both of them seem befuddled by this concept. One of them digs up my receipt under a tortilla and says, "....Alright, I'll get started on it." Nearly 30 minutes after it was supposed to have been ready.

I finally got my food (after they almost gave it to me after forgetting half of it) and I returned home to find that they the food they almost forgot was wrong.

As of this post, the Hot Head in Lima is pretty new. Like anything new, the line is long. Regardless of how I feel about the food, I have to admit it’s a very nice, clean atmosphere. Even though it’s new, the staff are fast and efficient… points for that… Now the food, it’s like the Aldi’s brand of name brand food, a straight knock off of Chipotle. It has some different sauce combination but nothing that really tripped my trigger. Given the choice between the two, I’d choose Chipotle every time.
