Okay. Well. In one word, DELICIOUS. You'll want more when you're hungry again. These dumplings resembled the folding of "xiaolong bao" or Chinese soup dumplings but they have a bit thicker wrapper. The filling has a little bit of curry which adds a wonderful complexity. The first bite usually has a little of the cooking juices that burst with flavor. With the spices and flavor, you wouldn't even know or care what protein was used - it was that good. We had the fried, the jhol (soup), and the chicken noodles. All were FANTASTIC.
The fried has 12 chewy skin momo's with a tomato based (seemingly) dipping sauce. You'll probably want to drink the sauce afterward. That bowl was cleaned out.
The Johl is dumplings in soup. The soup has a wonderful light tomato based flavor with diced green and red onions and the dumplings are softer on the bite. The fillings are the same. That bowl was cleaned out - by the kiddos.
The Chicken Noodles had flavorful chewy chow mein noodles mixed with slices of green bell pepper and red onion - simple and effective. You can by the perfect color and char tell that the cooking vessel gets pretty hot and the flavor you get from it tells you that the chef is very skilled in his craft. Cooked perfectly with loads of flavor. In the end, the cooking requires a bit of oil so don't be surprised if a little congregates at the bottom of the bowl. You'll probably want to drink that too, but your liver may hold you back. That bowl was cleaned out - by everyone.
Definitely will go back to this food truck again. You can tell that the chef cares about his food and wants to share it with you. Just make your order and give it a little time, these take a little while to cook. Thank you for the...

Momos are apparently a Nepalese Dumpling, if you were curious like we were!We ordered the Fried Momos and the Steamed Momos. Wait time was about 15 minutes but the result when we got our food was that it was 100% fresh and killer hot. The momos were fragrant - you could smell the seasonings/spices on them, and everything tasted amazing. There is a district difference in taste between the Steamed vs Fried, but both are fantastic. The sauce it comes with amplified them vs masking the taste like some sauces can do.
All in all - while there are many styles of dumplings out there and it's hard to compare them, these dumplings are the best we've ever had, period. Momo On The Wheels is a no brainer to try if you're in the Lincoln City area - even if you don't know if you like dumplings, you have to give them a...
Read morecoming from Seattle, we’ve come back to Pine’s Dine once before and i wanted to come back to try something i haven’t gotten before. i saw MoMo’s while walking around and decided to get the one with the soup! and it was DELICIOUS. as in, one bite in, jaw dropped by how GOOD it was. the soup had this citrusy flavor (think of thai tom yum soup is) but it is a tad bit thicker in consistency. and when paired with the momo, a nepalese dumpling-adjacent with a filling/meatball rich with spices, it comes together in wonderful harmony. i don’t even know how many momos were in the serving size, but i shared it with my partner and we were WELL stuffed — both momo and soup finished. all in all, i HIGHLY recommend momo’s, it was a taste i have NEVER had before....
