I had the most amazing sandwich here. When the menu here says you get a foot long po boy, that's exactly what you get. Man, this thing was big. I could only eat half of it, making it two complete meals. What a treat for later! I ordered the pork belly po boy, and it was a memorable experience. The bread was thick but light and easy to compress so as to take a big 'ol bite out of it. And there was a good amount of pork Belly which was so good. And there were a healthy number of greens splashed with a little oil and vinegar to help make the flavors pop. I will say that it wasn't cheap at $20 but I would order it again and not complain. It is a fair price and like I said above, it made two meals.

This is an absolute hidden gem! You HAVE to stop here if you are on the coast looking for fresh & LOCAL seafood. They use only the best local & house-made ingredients & you can tell when you’re eating it. We got the spicy crab ramen special today and I truly haven’t tasted anything that flavorful in a long time! On the coast everyone’s flavors start melding together because you see a lot of the same thing. Fish & chips, chowder, seafood pasta. Having a restaurant break those bounds but still offer that home style comfort food is exactly what we need around here & I’m so happy that Rook & Larder is pulling it off! Excellent job you guys! We’ll be seeing you again soon.

The first day we were here we were so excited to check this place out. Upon arrival the truck was boarded up and a sign that said 'sold out', needless to say i was devastated. At that moment i vowed to be one of the first customers on Sunday morning when they open at 11 and that's exactly what i did. I ordered the Mac and cheese with crab and i cannot rave enough how perfect this dish was. The amount of crab added to this bowl was insane! I ended up eating half and save half for later in the evening, that's how big these portions were. So happy i was able to enjoy this place and looking forward to future experiences on our trips to Lincoln City.

We’ve been driving up and down the Oregon Coast and have eaten everywhere and this food truck is hands down the best food we had. Not only is the food delicious, the owner works hard. He was the first food truck open in the morning and last in the evening. We shown up at 7.50pm when most already closed and he was kind enough to prepare us a delicious meal. We tried sunday brunch crab benny which was to die for. Also loved rockfish po boy and the crepe. Sausage mac and cheese was good and tomato soup with cheesy bread was such a treat on a rainy day. Most dishes are served with delicious pickled veggies. There are also vegan options, tried avocado toast and grain salad which were tasty. We basically ate most our meals here in the 3 days we spent in Lincoln city. Very happy to support...

I didn't know that soft shell crab gets served with the shell. I ordered a soft shell crab Po Boy. I am still trying to pick the shells out of my teeth. The mac n cheese was liquid cheese and gritty. This place is so highly rated...I feel disappointed with this one. *Response to the owner - thanks for having a positive attitude about criticism. I am not sure I can just let the comment about how you use real cheese and not the orange crap. I eat only real cheese - mac n cheese, and it never tastes like that. The texture was waaay off, man. My guess is you rushed the man n cheese order because you forgot it with the rest of the order. Everybody likes...
