Came here desperate looking for a place to eat in Lincoln City and was not disappointed! Don't pay attention to the bad review. We got the oyster platter (6 oyster shooters, 6 breaded oysters, 6 oysters sauteed in butter with onions & garlic, and 6 oysters on the half shell....yes, we freaking love oysters), halibut fish n chips, and a bowl of clam chowder.

First off, the quality of the oysters were completely on point. Super fresh and a lovely, smooth texture. I didn't like the oyster shooters at all, which have jalapeƱo vodka and bloody mary mix in them. I hate bloody marys and didn't like the taste of the vodka with the oysters. However my man loved the shooters. All the other oyster preparations were amazing however! My favorites were the oysters on the half shell (of course) and the breaded oysters, which tasted like they put herbs in the breading mix. The halibut fish n chips totally rocked. The halibut tasted fresh caught, not frozen, and you can tell they make the breading mixture themselves. Even the tartar sauce was flavorful. I didn't taste the clam chowder because it had bacon in it, unfortunately my guy didn't like it at all. The texture was too thick and gravy like. But bonus....the super nice waitress took it off our bill after noticing he barely touched it!

All in all a great place!! We will def be back next time we pass through Lincoln City. And yes, this is a dive bar with an unfussy down-home atmosphere. We didn't mind at all, in fact it was really...

Wait staff is not very friendly, I question if they actually like their jobs. Order premium liquor and they make your drink from the well liquor. On top of that, you get charged for premium! Hmmmmmm? The food is deep fried and greasy, almost uneditable!

The bartender by the name of Mark does this business absolutely no good! The ammoniated shell fish he served was close to poisoning someone. When it was brought to his attention, Mark stated ā€œthen don’t eat itā€ no apology nothing! He was too busy to deal with it he said! Funny thing, the bar and restaurant were empty and he stood at the bar with his thumb up his butt! There comes a time when employees become toxic to a business, Mark is at the top of this list and should find another trade. Over the last 4 yrs that I have visited Shuckers, Mark continues to treat customers very bad! I bet revenues would surely improve if Mark was replaced! The problem begins with a blind business owner, that turns their head the other way because they don’t want confrontation. Time to sell the place! Get some new blood to replace the toxic long term employees! This is the last time I will be visiting your establishment, along with several friends! There are two many other bar/rests in the local area that give much better service and the food is 10 times better. I will be following the downfall of this grease pit! Hopefully a couple employee changes might turn...

I used to come in at least twice a week for lunch. I quit doing so due to the bartenders disgruntled and very rude attitude. I decided to stop in today for lunch after not being in for several months and sure enough he was extremely rude and short with me right away. I asked for a white claw and told him I was going to order food also and did not need a menu, I knew what I wanted. As soon as I started ordering he got really loud and embarrassing to me everything I said he stated that's an extra charge, it's not that way on the menu and alls your doing is making my job confusing and making the cooks job harder! I said I don't need to be treated rudely alls I asked for was to add cheese to my BLT. I almost just got up and left at that point and should of, but I was hungry. And was hoping he'd chill out. He did not ask me one time if I needed anything else or how my meal was. When I finished my food. I asked for my check and told him I thought his service was terrible and he should not work with people if he hated to do so. I will not refer this place or ever go back. I'm all about supporting our locally owned businesses. But I'm not going to be treated wrongfully because some people just hate...

One waitress for the whole place and she was attentive and spot on. She noticed I wasn't eating my clam chowder and took it off the bill. I wasn't gonna say anything but I woulda have been way bummed to pay almost 10.00 bucks for something i wasnt gonna eat. She said they usually have really good chowder and she's sorry it wasn't this time. So I'm not sure what to say about the chowder. It was the last bowl in the pot. I think milk was added to make me a full bowl. There were no potatoes or clams in it. Just little bacon bits I think, except it didn't taste like bacon so I dunno. Blahhh no flavor. Salt and pepper wouldn't have helped I don't think. Maybe you'll need to order it when it's fresh. The jalapeƱo poppers and the fish and chips had good flavor. Crunchy and moist fish. It was a fun "locals" bar so it was great hearing all the laid-back banter between customers and the bartender/waitress. She was a machine with keeping everyone happy and waited on. The place was warm, on our cold rainy night, and clean. The drinks were better pours than other places so that gets a extra star from me. So drinks and waitress each get a star.

We went there kind of early, breakfast menu, so my review is based on that menu. The bloody Mary mix needs work, and they should use a better well vodka... I sent it back, undrinkable. Went with a mimosa instead and it was sufficient. We didn't get to the oyster shooters but they looked delicious and are offered at breakfast. Their menu was great for a tavern style breakfast! Very loud in there, between party-animal like mannerisms to the lack of grace with bussing tables. Expect a dive bar vibe. (We went on a Friday though). Bacon was undercooked ... Hash browns were delicious, didn't get to much else on the menu this time around but I'll be back! I accidentally left my debit card there but a kind patron looked up my business name and called me several times until I answered to tell me he found my card and brought it back to the restaurant! That's a fine quality to have in their patrons!
