Captain Jack's Bar — Restaurant in Lincoln

Captain Jack's is, without question, one of the best bars in downtown Lincoln. The staff is attentive, friendly, and always welcoming.

I am still relatively new to Lincoln, but I've seen some cool things during the last year while living in this awesome city. They recently expanded and now have a pool table, darts, and more room to move around. The TVs are awesome, but sometimes the live games differ from television to television and that's frustrating. Probably more of a technology thing; not sure how that all works.

The bathrooms are singles. If it's a quiet day or night, no problem. If there are a ton of people, hold onto your bladder.

I would warn anyone with kiddos: this place is a downtown spot that caters to the 21+ crowd. They have food vendors occasionally, but there's not a kitchen or any kind of food service. Also, beware that it's a soccer bar, and shit gets crazy during big games. Or matches. Not my sport, but if you're into soccer, this seems to be the place.

Overall, cool freaking bar with friendly people and very nice staff running the show. Perfect, badass location for anyone exploring...

Last weekend we were invited out to Captain Jacks Bar for a friend's birthday. I'd never been before and was unaware we were walking into a Holiday themed pop-up 😆🙃🤯.

It was A Lot, rather impressive with the massive amounts of decorations. 2 page menu of appropriately named drinks. My husband was excited to order a Hot Chocolate Flight but I guess we got there too late and they were out 😢. Instead he had a gin drink Gingle All The Way. I had the tequila based Merrygarita.

Drinks were yummy, place was super fun. I didn't get the bartender's name but she was doing great holding the place down solo. Worth a stop sometime this...

Stopped in here for the first time Saturday night. Was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, and service! Raven was serving that night. 5/5 for her. Great vibes from her. She’s a fun conversationalist, and her customer service is top notch! (She made sure to check in on people to see how they were doing!) This bar hit the spot!

Highly recommend and will be happy to return...
