UPDATED: I was contacted and asked to fill out their online form. I got pretty rapid follow-up from the area manager who happens to manage this store. They listened to my complaints and suggestions, and welcomed me to come introduce myself. Efforts were made to apologize and make amends, and that is appreciated.
So, this has been my "local" for a while now, but I have to say, despite many historically wonderful experiences at this location, I'm fairly disappointed after my experience Monday night.
If you look up store hours online, they indicate the store is open until 9 pm. Apparently, they started closing at 8 "a couple of months ago" because there's no business. I get it, but surely there's some way to update the hours? When I asked, the employee said "Yeah our manager doesn't have any control over that." Well, someone does, I'm sure.
They said it was a lack of business, and "no cars in the drive up between 8 and 9"
Well, at 7:50, there were seven people sitting IN the store, who were warned that it was closing time in 10. The three employees appeared to be doing everything they could to shut the doors at 8pm. As I was getting into my car at 7:59, there was a very confused party in a truck at the drive up window. At 8:00 straight up (as indicated by an 8pm alarm on my phone), the lights snapped off.
I know that times are tough, but could you at least update your hours to match reality, please?...
Read moreThe service here is always so kind and fun, but I had to leave a review today because the baristas made a personalized drawing on my coffee for me! I feel like they are one of the last stores in town to keep up this fun habit of adding little drawings to drinks, and it absolutely makes my day. I was too out of it in the moment to recognize what the barista meant when she said she’d made me a little cloud with rain on my cup for the rainy day, but I had to come back and leave my gratitude now that I know what she meant. It’s so cute and thoughtful, and even though it’s such a small gesture, it just adds so much to the Scooter’s experience and to feeling valued as someone coming in for a cup of coffee. Read moreA little irritated that the customer service was lacking, all scooters locations are owned and brought up locally. I was made a drink at a different location near by and she refused to give me a remake to make the drink taste better. I've had good experiences in the past but what irritated me is that she lacked any empathy or emotions and truly didn't "care" whether or not I spent the money already and insisted I pay to get it made different. Really big let down after moving and looking forward to trying...
