Wendy's is consistently b u s s i n . It's a place you can always go back to and have the same experience over and over again. Wendy's has lots of things you can eat, and lots of things you probably shouldn't eat. The fries? Absolutely. Order 2 large containers of those bad boys, they're delicious. The soda? You can definitely drink it, but it probably won't make you any healthier. But that goes for soda in general. The plastic spoons???? Yeah. Totally. Don't you trust me?
Wendy's also has a few of my favorite things about restaurants. The drive thru line that wraps around the store is a sure sign that this place is beloved by all, and the multitude of friends in said line will always brighten your day. Just don't get in the drive thru line. You may have to double your lunch break. Inside, the constant beeping of friers and humming of machinery from the kitchen give great background noise as you peacefully enjoy your delicious meal. If nothing else is true, the slightly sticky floor will always invite you back. Even when you're miles from home, walking into one of their locations is like stepping back into your own...
Read moreUsed to be much better. Wait times are ridiculously long now, orders are almost always wrong. They often forget either straws, napkins or spoons. Hit and miss on the friendliness of the crew. Outside maintenance isn't done well, if at all. (There was dry ketchup on the drive-thru window frame for well over 6 months!!!) I'm currently 3rd in line in the drive-thru, was 5th when I pulled in 20 minutes ago.
Edited to add: Spent a total of 30 minutes waiting to get dinner in the drive-thru. (Company policy is 90 seconds!!!) When I got home, I was missing dipping sauce that I ordered, crackers and chili oil, one sandwich ordered without onions had onions, ice in my drink ordered without ice and one napkin for a combo meal and 4 small sandwiches. I had to repeat my order three times to the order taker and it was STILL wrong.
PS at least three of the positive comments are employees. Imagine that. Damage control?
Edit: once again they screwed up my order. Why do I continue...
Read moreThe management at this location is absolutely horrible. I ordered a frosty and the person taking the orders was confused if I had a coupon. I double checked she got the frosty at the first window. By the second window, a sweet younger worker handed me the frosty I had ordered. The manager came and yelled at her for giving the wrong order and made her get it back from inside my car. I explained I had indeed ordered one and she rudely insisted they hadn't charged me. Pointing out that I confirmed and that was their fault, she aggressively told me and the worker off. I worked with the sweet younger worker to pay and get my frosty- and told her that the manager in charge should really be more friendly and care about customers. She apologized on behalf of her boss and I assured her it wasn't her fault at all! A $2 frosty is not a big deal, but how rude and absolutely distasteful that manager is will make it so I...
