I stopped into this McDonald's last week and purchased a meal. While there I inquired about a position for my 16-year-old niece. I was told they start hiring at her age and were currently hiring. I was directed to have her complete an application online. After completing the application, she was to attend an open interview which is held every Monday at 8a.
My niece was so excited when I told her about it. We went over practice questions and proper etiquette. This morning she arrived for the interview and was told they didn't start open interviews until 9a. She waited until 9a and met with the manager. The manager told her she didn't see her application and then left her at the table never to return.
After several long minutes my niece approached the cashier and asked for the manager. She was rudely asked her age. After telling the cashier her age she was told she had to be 17yoa and that the manager was busy. She left absolutely crushed. This was her first experience with employment.
The team at this McDonald's, during this morning’s shift was extremely rude and unprofessional. I cringe when I think of the type of service this team must give. It starts at the top. If management is this unprofessional, what is the work environment like? Do you really want an unprofessional team such as this one serving you? Not me, not my family, not my friends, nor anyone else I can...
Read moreDuring my stay in Little Rock, I stayed at Laquinta approximately 306 ft from this Mcdonalds. During my stay there, I decided to walk to Mcdonalds to get a bite to eat with my service dog. As I entered the facility, I was greeted by a Mcdonalds shift supervsior telling me to "get that dog from out here" in a very rude manner. Remind you, my dog is a service dog not a pet. She never asked if she was a service dog. My dog has paperwork and an identification card and is permitted anywhere in a public setting. This employee was an old black woman in her mid 60's. A little too old to be working at mcdonalds but I digress. So after I set her straight showed my dog's id and I then informed her don't take it out on me because you don't have a high school diploma. I then placed my order. I noticed a total of 15 employees just standing around in the cooking area doing nothing but dancing and singing to Rihanna's song "Wild Thoughts" . My eyes may have mislead me, because last time I checked I walked into Mcdonalds and not a night club. This mcdonalds is very ghetto and loud. I would not recommened this ratchet and rude...
Read moreI find it rather perplexing that some, if not all, of the 5-star reviews here may not be entirely genuine. It wouldn't be surprising if some were incentivized with complimentary meals to leave positive feedback. Every night or early morning, I utilize the app to order a milkshake, coffee, or something similar. On a recent occasion, I couldn't help but overhear one of the employees on shift expressing disapproval towards my frequent online orders, insinuating that I'm exploiting discounts. However, utilizing the app for its intended purpose hardly qualifies as anything other than prudent. It's evident that this particular staff member lacks professionalism and seems to be operating at a lower standard. Furthermore, tonight's frappe seems to be lacking in quality, leaving me questioning the competence of the management responsible for overseeing this group of seemingly indifferent employees. At this point, I'm questioning the wisdom of patronizing this...
