The location threw me off, but the reviews brought me here. The results are that the staff is very welcoming, pleasant, and helpful, and while I felt comfortable, I came to delight in some food and the highlights I would stand by and surprises me because my spouse ordered it is a bread dessert with coffee ice cream (not pictured) the picture here is what I ordered the churros w/ice cream the presentation is remarkable but the churros although good it took 2nd to the bread dessert. I did have the two tacos barbacoa (also not pictured). The meat in the tacos is enough to make my two into four tacos. Only if they were four fried crispy tacos I would gladly return to try them out. So this is the new tacos king for me in Long Beach I dare anyone to find better. it's a small place but it has a homemade personal touch that so many places are missing. The prices here are so affordable and reasonable that you won't believe it at first. the portions of food are ridiculous for the price you get so much for paying so little. The staff is phenomenal and kind they treat each customer with dignity and respect I saw them refill a homeless lady's fries just because, it's that kind of character that really tells you about a place. Let’s start off with the waitstaff, awesome, attentive and helpful. Super cozy and great small dining area inside. I ordered a carne asada taco-4.4 rating. It was precooked and reheated and overcooked. The carnitas taco-7.6 rating. Cooked just right, and had its own dressing, and wasn’t the same on the rest of the tacos. Really catered towards each meat. This was the prized pick for me. The Barbacoa taco-5.1 rating. This just tasted like a shredded chunky beef taco in a mole paste/style sauce. Not my favorite, but again the specialty dressing associated with just this meat was great.
