Now given my history I take my food very serious and my choice of where I am going to take my family to eat even more. My family and I visited the Aquarium of the Pacific and inside to my amazement was this wonderful establishment called the Cafe Scuba ok Names a bit obvious but I didn't let that detour my need for substanance. I always leave reviews of every where i eat at to let people know where is the BEST PLACES TO go eat but Prior before entering the prices are clear..... I was like WOW $$$ Don't mine spending the money if the food is exceptional we ordered the Grill cheese and fries for my daughter $13.99 , the Spaghetti with a side salad which comes with 2 pieces of Garlic bread $18.99 and pizza which comes with an amazing salad for my neice $17.99 total $60.04 OUCH But again your entering an amazing atmosphere, family owned, I didn't see an unsatisfied face in the entire place people were socializing eatting laughing and enjoying there food. And what's most important the Owner tryst to serve every table (MAD RESPECT) So when our food arrived everything was great food delicious fresh hot 🔥 mouth watering and my first bite was good. Spaghetti is my Italian dish the way they prepared it vegan meat amazing sauce 😋 do not hesitate to bring your family to Cafe Scuba great family environment and great food service. I gave this place 5 stars because they work as a team the food was good and the environment also good.
Good Job today...

The Sustainable Special of the Day was Parmesan Crusted Salmon served with market vegetables, roasted potatoes, and lemon compound butter. The salmon was cooked to a requested rare. The parmesan crust was flavorful adding a salty tone. The addition of sautéed vegetables and roasted potatoes made it a meal without it being not too heavy and just right for lunch. Rating: 5/5
Half Sandwich and Soup Special is your choice of sandwich and a bowl of soup. Tuna Salad on Pumpernickel was okay. The tuna salad was your average run-of-the-mill offering with mayo and such. The pumpernickel bread could have been softer. The addition of provolone, lettuce, and tomato gave it some texture and made it refreshing. The clam chowder was rich, thick, hearty, and creamy. It contained a healthy amount of clams and bacon added a salty, smoky flavor. It also had a nice mix of vegetables - potatoes, red bell peppers, and onions. Rating: 3.8/5
The Brownies are more cake-like than brownie. It was moist with a rich chocolate flavor. The chocolate chips were a nice textural and flavor...
Read moreBig drop in quality since the renovation. Took over 20 minutes at get a couple of burgers and fish sticks out to a table. The server Danny refused to check on the order despite being asked several times and discouraged other workers for looking into what was taking so long. Eventually we received our cold food when we returned to the register to find out the peoblem. They gave an excuse about a printer jam and loosing a few tickets no appologies for the wait. Unsurprisingly there was a ticket for someone else's order in one of the baskets so I hope they were not the next victim of the chaos from kitchen.
The new layout maybe adds a few seats but seems to have deminished the capacity of the kitchen. The chicken sandwich used to be consistently great but both came out dry and over cooked this time. The fish sticks arrived Luke warm and the fries tasted like they had been already sitting out to long. Surpriseng because we placed the order at about 11:40 and got food just after 12:05. I would have thought with the list nch rush about to begin the food would have been fresh.
For as over priced as everything is there are plenty of options right out side or just bring your own lunch in. What ever you do just...
