I’m a veteran. Memorial day weekend. Retired educator. I worked in the food industry for years while attending college. I ordered the lunch special sirloin steak with vegetable, and added the strawberry salad. We sat outside, with a reservation because we have our dogs with us. The manager came out and said there is no server at this time it’ll be a 10 to 15 minute wait. This is why I had a reservation you were informed Outback that we were going to attend your restaurant for our lunch. Two minutes later a server comes out and ask us, “can I help you, I think great! “He takes our order comes back within three minutes gives us a loaf of bread and lemon waters and disappears. 12 minutes later reappears after asking another waiter where is our waiter? He shows up saying that he’s doing other tables inside. I am unaware of his situation. Ordering more bread, he brings it. Then, within five minutes he brings our salads, specialty salads, the strawberry salad. And then we ask for more bread, and begin to eat the salad that turned out to be nothing but stalks. Our food arrives. I look at the vegetable which was broccoli that was still raw and I turned it over looking at the stems and it had black on it. Not from char, black because it was old Food. The manager finally appeared, and said that I had a problem with their server. I have no problem with their server, I have a problem with how they present their product and restaurant. Is this the normal operating procedure? Moving forward, I showed her the seven stems that I pushed aside in my salad bowl and she said they serve bag salad at this restaurant. And then she said our specialty salads don’t use this lettuce in their salad. My significant other said, “this is a specialty salad It is the strawberry salad.” Duh! As a veteran on memorial day being taken out by my wife, I expected more, not trash bag salad full of stocks with red ends, and uncooked broccoli with black stems from being old. The manager, she then said, “I can make it up to you, what would you like?” I said, “i’ll try the mac & cheese.“ When she brought it out, I looked at it. It looked like vomit with small bits of bile? Whoever prepared this wiped it with some sort towel and you can see the smear marks on the side of the bowl. For all I know it could have been wiped with the floor mop. I left it. Please see photos. If you want to be thoroughly disappointed, go eat here. It’s the outback. where they have to scrape up every crumb and morsel to feed it to their customers. The Manager removed one entrée off the check but for around $50 which this would have cost? I could have gone to Ralph’s and cooked a five star lunch, at my house and not be disappointed. This is the reason why I hate going to restaurants. They act as if you owe them for the dumpster dine that...
Read moreWe went yesterday june 2 for my birthday. We got there and they told us 10 minutes to get us a table which did not happen we waited over 30 minutes for a table when there was barely any people. After we sat and ordered around 7:23pm we got our drinks like 10 mins later but the food didnt come til about 50 minutes later to where the worst experience began. The steaks were completely burnt when we had ordered them medium well. We told the waiter which he offered to call his manager whom never came to speak to us supposably various waiters told us her name was Sarah Payne which we dont know if its true or not because it took us a while to get her last name noone wanted to provide it everyone said they didnt know because she was new. How is that even possible to not know your manager's full name? What got us more upset was the fact she didnt have the decency to come and speak to us if she would have come and given us a reasonable explanation we might have understood but all she told rhe waiter to tell us was that we werent going to pay for anything and as soon as qe were ready to leave we could head out just like that didnt even offer to exchange it didnt offer any other solution! Just horrible management! And to top it all off besides the fact that the steaks were burnt also all the food was cold how is that even possible if it took 50 minutes for them to fulfill our order atleast bring it hot! Never going to back there again and im making a formal complaint with corporate as well this is...
Read moreQuite possibly the worst dining experience I've ever had. Here's a list of the issues:
The tables and walls around the booth we were sitting were disgusting, coated in grease and dripping with some type of goop.
The food took about 40 minutes to come to our table, despite the place not being excessivelybusy. For some reason, the salad came out waay before the rest of the food.
One of our steaks was ordered medium, but came to our table very very well done and dry as can be. We asked for it to be redone, which took about another 20 minutes for it to come to us, at which point I was done with my meal but my partner had not.
The meals we ordered were at different temperatures; the shrimp were cold, while the potatoes were the only thing at temperature.
The shrimp came on top of what can be described as a burnt half loaf of bread? Unsure what that is about.
Although the bar was about 20 feet from where we were sitting, the cocktail I ordered took about 15 minutes to get to us.
I tried ordering another cocktail, but it never came. Then, the cocktail magically showed up on our bill. The waiter tried to unsuccessful explain the charge.
The hallway leading to the bathrooms had water, an obvious hazard. The men's bathroom was disgusting.
Terrible experience overall, on all aspects. There are plenty of restaurants around the area, I highly recommend you try any of those. I doubt they are worse than this...
