I usually go there after dropping off my daughter at school if I need something. Today I needed shoes so I went. As soon as I entered it felt really hot. As usual I first wanted to see if I can find any good deals.
First I went to see the bed sheets, didn't find anything in the price range I wanted. Moved on to pots and pans section, I like Kitchen Aid so I was looking for that brand, was there for a while and settled for a small wok. Went to the girls section for underwear and I had to dig through to find the right size only found two and got them both.
Finally went to the shoe section which is by the entrance. I already knew what brand I wanted, I went to my size and got all the styles of Sketchers to try on so don't have to walk back and forth. As I'm trying on the shoes I heard the security telling whom I assume is the manager in charge up front about the "suspicious woman that came in with a big bag that looked down when she came in." Then the manager looks at me and asks her "does she have glasses?" Security says "yes". They had this conversation 10 feet away from me. I assume they didn't think I spoke English. That was very unprofessional. The bag that I use is a purse that I bought at that same store, is one of the designer purses that they have locked in the rack that I paid $100 for. It's more of a tote and it is big but I live in a city that charges for plastic bags and encourages people to bring their own bag when shopping. Security said I looked down when I entered, What am I suppose to do? Go up to her and shake her hand?
Finally when I get in line to pay the manager tells me that she can help me. Obviously because she thinks I'm stealing. What enraged me the most is that they talked about me right in front of me. Next time be more discreet. I don't think I'll be going back instead I'll head down the street to the outlets. Your security and manager needs...

she goes you have a loud voice that why I called you sir With a snarky reply like I was wasting her time but Iām a customer that was just there in the womenās fitting room checking to see if I just lost my debit card unacceptable. She needs to be fired or retrained how to deal with customer service better I didnāt even get her name. I tried to and she hung up on me before I even could an I have never been more insulted in my life. I never get called sir on the phone. Itās always mam I donāt even have to say anything
I have never had any problems at this Ross security guard is cool. All the staff is cool besides that one rude lady when I was asking about a dire situation that I needed my debit card found, and she didnāt seem to even care or wanna bother retrain that lady or fire her if you could get to the bottom of who it was she said she couldnāt understand what I was saying because I was yelling and I wasnāt even yelling? .I was talking in my normal tone completely unacceptable and rude. This lady was. what Iām saying. What Iām saying is someone to please find my debit card which I had to order a new one at this point and cancel my debit card because she was so lazy and didnāt even wanna bother. You could tell it in her voice and how she was acting over the phone that it was like not her problem to to deal with, even though when people lose their debit card, it is your duty to deal with it. I was on speakerphone as well, which is why it was loud which she probably doesnāt...

I am a business owner and I manage my company and branches well. I teach my employees how to do their work with efficient effort. I care about my employees. But I can't believe it. I waited for 30 minutes in line last week and as I got to the register and handed over a purse I was buying for my wife and a Polo Shirt for myself. It cost me in total of $92.87. I gave the female clerk $90 and $5. The clerk told me I am unless by a $1. I told her, "That is impossible. You are counting the money incorrectly. I gave you $95." She argued with me that I only gave her $91. That $5 is NOT $1. She had to call an associate. I am a kind man who respects, cares, and want the best for my employees and company. But there has been a few clerks at Ross that are careless lately. I am not trying to be rude but some clerks need glasses. Don't waste and be disrespectful to your customers or else the branch will lose many customers. I know, no one is perfect but this is a heads up to the manager. Please teach and discipline your employees. Don't take this message offensively. Do your job as a manager so that your employees will be better...
