To whom it may concern. The wife and I will never return. We found the couch area clear next to the bar. So we Sat down and noticed that the table was extremely dirty. After ordering drinks I walked over to the wait station and asked if I could get a towel to wipe down the table MY SELF. At which point I was told by one of the female waiters that she was to busy to grab the towel that was located 5 feet away from her at the entrance to the back of the bar. She then turned and walked away, Oh by the way she walked right past the towel. I flagged down another staff member that called him self (Michael). I asked to talk to the manager, he responded why what is the question? I told him that I didn’t want to ask a question to the manager I wanted to report something to them. He then said hold on I will get her. He returned about 10 min later and said there was no manager on shift. I told him you told me you were going to get her. At which point he turned and walked Behind the bar. Another Patron that was there grab the towel and wipe down the table. This was completely Unacceptable that the paying customers have to do the staffs job. I’m a small business owner as well as the gentleman that wipe down the table him and I got into a discussion, talking about how bad the service was at shenanigans. He then mentioned to me that the managers name is Teresa and in fact Teresa was there she just doesn’t deal with customer issues. Well let me end with this I have lived in the South Bay pretty much my whole life. With that being said the word will be spread far and wide to stay the Hell away from this poor excuse of an Irish pub. Customer service is key to customer retention Apparently they just don’t get that at...
Read moreWent to lunch with a friend and while the food was decent, service was poor to mediocre and the business as a whole could use some restructuring. First off we were seated at 11:45 for a supposed quick lunch and we left almost two hours later (1:38pm)because service was that slow. We were also surprised when they asked us for a credit card to start a tab when neither of us were drinking. My friend and i surmised that people probably dined and dashed, asked the waiter if that was the reason and he said yes, it didn't take us long to realize the reason people most likely dined and dashed was because the chairs they have are like torture they're so uncomfortable, we were both shifting and readjusting every minute or so and after the first hour when our waiter didn't come back after delivering the appetizer for nearly 40 minutes, i honestly couldn't blame anyone who left waiting endlessly for the waiter to come back and couldn't stand to be in those chairs one more second. After the meal we had to wait for another twenty minutes for them to bring our check and they still didn't bring back my friends credit card. I find it ironic that they have a two hour time limit as if its the customers that have a problem when its the staff that is so slow and disorganized that they average a two hour service time for a meal. Keeping mind that while they were busy, this was during covid and only patio areas were being seated with what appeared to be about 5-6 servers. I also find it really terrible that they impose an 18% mandatory tip for such service as if people don't tip because they are bad customers and not because the staff there are poor waiters and "TIPS" means "To Insure...
Read moreWe loved the live music which they have every weekend. Today they had a two man band called Steady Rockwell on 1-1-25. They were very talented, eclectic, and open by allowing a customer sing a song with them. The vibe was great! We sat outdoors where they had heated lamps since it was about 55-60 degrees and it made it feel comfortable. The corned beef burger $17.33 was very good (even if a little salty) with very little fat and the meat was cooked very well but not burned and not overcooked and it had the coming off the bone feel where you could eat it like string cheese which I love, and the burger itself had a fried potato pancake as the bottom layer and healthy coleslaw on top of the meat. The bread was toasted just right… only thing is I wish there were Swiss cheese melted and sautéed onions in there… to add to the flavor. But overall quality meat burger and the fries were just right and crispy. The wait staff were very very attentive and I would say they were the top 1% as they kept asking us if we needed anything so we never had to flag anyone down. The security guard was nice too. Easygoing and friendly but professional. It’s situated with all the shopping on the pier so you can also have a water view and enjoy live music while eating and drinking. Parking is the public lot you pay for right across the way in about 10-15 steps at $10 max if you get validation at a restaurant. Shenanigans gives validation. By the hour the parking fee is $1 for every 20 minutes after the first hour. Without validation it’s a lot more. They have...
