Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory LB — Local services in Long Beach

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory is irresistible to the sweet tooth. Of course, they have chocolate, but they also offer candy apples, fudge, brittles, and more. Dark Chocolate Rocky Road was calling my mom's name. The dark chocolate enrobed marshmallows and almonds for a decadent treat. We would have saved it for later but it would have melted on the walk back to the car.

The low rating is for the customer service. The gal behind the counter talking with friends in Spanish and not really interested in actually serving guests that were coming in. There was a tourist in front of us. Not sure how long he was waiting before we got there. He wanted to ask questions about what was in the different chocolates. She answered one of his questions and then walked back to her friends to talk more. He finally gave up and just left. My mom really wanted some Rocky Road and it took us a while to get the gal's attention again to come and serve us. Not sure I will be back in if I see this...

I've been going to this location since I was a kid, and it's one of the few places that is just as good as it used to be. It smells exactly the same as it did in the early 90s and the quality is just as good. Shoreline Village has a lot of great places to get treats but I always like to stop here and take some snacks home with me. The apples are great obviously, but so are all the different chocolate covered things they sell. The people who work there have always been helpful and nice. And it's always fun to take a picture with the big bear, whether he's inside or out on the bench enjoying the breeze. 10/10 I hope this place stays...

Went here to get a caramel apple. Big mistake huge mistake. Had them cut the Apple in wedges. When I ate the first wedge after I got home it was awful the Apple was supposedly covered in caramel then milk chocolate over that. I don't know what they used in place of the caramel or somebody doesn't know how to make caramel, usually you just melt the caramels, because it was grainy it was like eating sand, tasted like it was covered in raw brown sugar and then coated in chocolate it was awful. Threw away the rest of the $8 Apple. Will never never get another caramel apple from...
