Alfred Coffee — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Came here a second time and it reinforced my first impressions of expensive yet average coffee, slow service and a dated vibe (although it’s new) - feels like a Starbucks rather than an independent coffee shop. They inexplicably don’t offer bathrooms and coffee is only served in takeout cups, so maybe ok for a to go coffee (if you can wait…).

Note to the management: go easy on the demand to donate to charity - it was very in your face yet unsubstantiated; if you are going to demand a donation at the cash register, perhaps have some information available on your wall or at the counter about why the money is needed and what it will...

Get the burritos back in stock, pls! Every time we go to an Alfred’s, they are always sold out of the burritos. Each time we go, even when we watch online shows, they still have some. Also, please take into consideration in-person orders vs online. The online orders are completed faster than in-person, which is annoying and rude. The staff overall are great, Alfred Co., get it together with the stock supply, and prioritize the millions of online orders, while also attending to people waiting in person. For a self proclaimed famous vanilla latte, infamous should be more like it. All the syrup sat at the bottom of my coffee, then milk, then espresso on top and not mixed at all. First sip tasted only of espresso, then I had to flip my cup over several times to mix the syrup in myself before it tasted like a vanilla latte.

I love this shop and the atmosphere but I do not want another latte I have to hand mix myself. I’m willing to give them another choice though because the latte was delicious...
