Read moreA quick and casual Middle Eastern Kosher lunch or dinner option. You order the sort of protein that you would like and then choose in what form, either a pita, bowl, or plate, and then you can choose your sides or toppings. Similar to Chipotle and Cava in that you can really customize your order. It was extremely crowded when we went to grab a quick dinner and the parking lot is very small so it will most likely be street parking. Service was pretty slow to be honest and the workers seem to be very stressed. I heard many of the customers complain about some very minor issues, so I felt like I was on a cruise ship full of retired and grumpy people. I literally overheard three separate customers go up to the counter and complain during my 15 minute wait.
The food itself was very good although I wish it came with more protein. Also, they only have chicken Shawarma and don’t have beef Shawarma. One of the customers was extremely upset about this. Given how long it took to get our order though I don’t feel it’s as quick of an option as I anticipated. I chose the Beef Kebab Plate, and even though I just got a single kebab, instead of two, the taste was really great.
Overall a really tasty meal but with slow service and a handful of rude and fussy customers on the inside. I enjoyed the meal, but not sure that I would go back due to...
Read moreStay away ! These people are crooks. The last 5 times I ordered from this establishment I have had the worst experience.
I called in an order for crispy chicken plate and was told 15 minutes to pickup. When I arrived the same woman I spoke with on the phone said I never made the order and they don't have any more crispy chicken. I showed her the number I called of the restaurant and she said "maybe It was a different employee" ( this place used to be good so I do recognize her voice and that was a blatant lie)
Since they realized they can take advantage of their customers due to current inflation and shortages, they continue to send the wrong orders ( no hummus , no rice, wrong cabbage etc).
The last straw was tonight when cutting my daughter's chicken , I touched it and it was freezing. I cut it open and saw it was raw inside! Rice was freezing also! I ordered hummus, no hummus. I ordered red cabbage , we got white. The vegetables in the israeli salad are all old .
These people think that we are stupid while almost every other restaurant is keeping their standards of quality ( albeit with higher prices due to inflation) and service.
Shame on Dr sandwich! My kids used to love this place and now I guess we will be...
