I walked up to the takeout window to order a coffee, and the guy taking my order gave me an off-putting attitude from the start. I was polite and clear with my order, so it caught me off guard.
While my wife was at her appointment next door, I waited patiently in the seating area. She actually finished her appointment and came to meet me—and I was still waiting for my drink. No one informed me it was ready. Turns out, they had just placed it on the opposite side of the store without saying a word.
When I asked about my order, the same guy pointed to the far side of the window like I should have somehow known to go over there—even though I watched other customers receive their drinks right where I was sitting. It made me feel uncomfortable and frankly, unwelcome. I still have no idea why I was treated that way, but it felt personal.
To top it off, the coffee was terrible—bitter and barely drinkable.
I usually try to support local spots, but this kind of experience makes it really hard to come back. Hopefully management addresses how staff treats customers, because no one deserves to feel ignored or singled out when all they’re doing is...

Honestly, it was one of those meals where everything was fine — like, aggressively mediocre. The only thing that stood out? The price tag. Two coffees and baby-sized portions that barely filled half the plate… and surprise! I was hungry again in 30 minutes.
Nothing terrible, nothing memorable — just kind of… there. Like the toast of breakfast spots. Neutral. Forgettable. Probably a vibe if you like spending $30 to...
