FOOD: PIZZA!!!!!!! PIZZA AND MORE The East coast pizza has truly met the west! And BOBBY'S PIZZA has done it and done it right!!!! The pizza at BOBBY'S PIZZA is amazing! The dough is handmade, nothing frozen here.
The dough is incredibly fresh and baked to perfection. When your pie or slice (yes, BOBBY'S serves it up by the slice too - a nice humongous slice I might add) comes out of the oven, the bottom of the crust has the right amount of toasted fire tinged tastiness from the oven. It is never over done. The crust is perfect for dipping....And by itself, the crust is a perfect combination with everything else on the menu.
SERVICE: Two brothers BOBBY & BRIAN are authentic, warm and kind hearted. They honestly put their heart and soul into every slice, every pie and their customers satisfaction. You can taste it in the quality of the food and service. They not only know pizza but they know great service! They take the time to greet each customer. No matter where they are in their pizzeria, you will ALWAYS get a hello, thank you for coming in, or just how is it going. When you walk through "THIER" doors.
AMBIANCE: Is also full of flavor! eclectic music with a rhythmic pop culture mural to the synergistic energies popping through the music videos...
BOBBY'S LARGE PIZZA...let's just say you truly need two hands to carry the box.
GARLIC KNOT LOVERS - BOBBY'S RIVALS MOST! This is a must try!
Everything on the menu is made fresh and the awesome brothers are down to earth and genuinely care about their craft AND INCREDIBLE FOOD BOBBY'S PIZZA is an awesome experience.
Rest assured after your 1st visit you will be a repeat customer!
Until my next order....Bobby and Brian-Thank you for your wonderful food and great service! Satisfied...
Read moreIf you've read any of my past LA pizza reviews, you know I'm a tough critic. But this place, their pizza and customer service, made me new found loyal customer! After years of walking and driving by (literally), I finally stopped in for a pie this past Wednesday night. My best friend just started a job down the block and Highly recommend them. Him also being from the East Coast. At first, I blew it off because that's just the type of pizza lover I am, but he convinced me. Walking in, they were empty. Now, to me, that's usually not a good sign haha But it worked out perfectly. Had a great chat with Ryan. Who was very, very cool and made a delicious pie. We had a great chat about LA pizza and the overall difference in pizza between states. Him being from the East Coast as well. I also really enjoyed his politeness and customer service to a seemingly homeless gentleman. That was great. I ordered a large pie, half Hawaiian and half meat lovers. It was fantastic! Great taste and crunch, just like I like it. It was so good, let's just say, I may or may not have eaten the entire pie by myself. Not in one sitting, though haha I also asked for and was once again saddened when I asked if they had zeppole's and was asked, "what is that" But instantly in awe when Ryan, for his first time, on the spot made us some. Their a New York thing, Google it. Of course, I had to tell my family about the food and my incredible experience, and we'll be sure to stop by this weekend. I highly recommend them for a good pizza and cool hang. They have drinks and other menu items. And a TV I'd assume they play NFL/NBA, etc, games on. You won't be...
Read moreI rarely leave reviews, but in this case, I would be remiss not to share my experience. The level of service I received at Bobby’s Pizza was, quite frankly, appalling.
I stopped in to purchase a single slice of pizza—which, side note, was priced at a surprising $9—but the real issue was the complete lack of customer service. I stood inside the restaurant for several minutes without being greeted or acknowledged in any way. The employee behind the counter, a man with a long black ponytail whose name I unfortunately did not catch, never once looked in my direction or offered a simple “hello.”
After waiting patiently, I approached and said, “Hi, I’d like to buy a slice of pizza and will be paying in cash.” Without making eye contact, he replied flatly, “You’re going to have to wait. I’m busy.”
At that point, I calmly responded, “No problem—I’ll come back another day.” His response? A cold, “See you then.” No apology, no effort to provide basic courtesy.
Before leaving, I offered a sincere suggestion: I told him that acknowledging customers—whether you’re busy or not—is the bare minimum standard of respect. A simple, “Hi there, I’ll be right with you,” makes all the difference. Still, he said nothing. I had been in the restaurant for at least four minutes, completely ignored.
As a business owner myself, I understand how important it is to value each customer who walks through the door. Respect and acknowledgment cost nothing, but their absence speaks volumes.
If you’re looking for the worst customer service on Melrose, unfortunately, Bobby’s Pizza delivers...
