I’m a person that’s worked in food service so I understand how things work and I’m a very laid back person when it comes to small mishaps. However, the service I received tonight was simply terrible. My boyfriend and I got there around 10:15pm they close at 10:30 so pretty understandable that they may have to remake some food or are in the process of closing things up. No biggie. I ordered a spicy deluxe sandwich and all was well. I even got a “my pleasure” when I said thank you. My boyfriend is a regular at this Chick-fil-A so they had his sandwich out like 2 seconds after he ordered. Mine was taking a little longer but I had no problem waiting a little longer until at least 8 or 9 other people who were behind me in line got their order before me. So I figured maybe it was forgotten somehow and if we go remind the employees about it and they’d get it out soon. Well that’s not what happened. We asked about the sandwich and the girl filling all the orders looked around for it and just sort of mumbled like oh it’s not here. Ok fine. Couple more minutes go by and we ask another employee and he goes over to check and they just said it wasn’t ready yet. Ok fine. Little more time goes by and we’re getting kind of annoyed because my boyfriends food is getting cold. We approach the counter again and the girl filling the orders flips out and raises her voice and was like “it’s not ready yet. If it was ready I would have handed it to you. I wouldn’t just have you standing there.” Um excuse me? No one has told us “hey since we’re closing it’s going to take a little longer to make a spicy so it’ll be a little bit of a wait”. If someone had simply said that then this whole situation wouldn’t have been so bad. So after the young lady raises her voice and gets frustrated with US for wondering where the sandwich is after not receiving any indication of why it was taking longer, we go back to the wall and wait. Finally after a couple more minutes the sandwich is up and my boyfriends meal is cold. As I’ve stated before, I’ve worked in food service and most recently customer service so I know what good service is. This wasn’t it. My boyfriend goes up to the manager to see what can be done about this since we waited so long and her employee got angry with us, but she does nothing. This is the kind of service I would expect from McDonalds maybe Wendy’s. Not Chick-fil-A. I’m from Georgia so I know how good Chick-fil-A service is and how they always put their customers first. This was very far from that. I’m not an entitled person but any other Chick-fil-A would have automatically given us a free Chick-fil-A sandwich coupon for just having to wait a long time. I don’t need the coupon because I don’t really eat Chick-fil-A that frequently anymore but it’s a matter of principle. This manager is not suited to be a Chick-fil-A manager. While we were waiting for the order a man was upset that they were closing their ice cream machine before 10:30 and all she did was say “oh we always close it at this time” that may be true but again it’s the principle. This man was upset and you couldnt even give him a coupon for the inconvenience of not getting his milkshake even though the restaurant had not technically closed? Crazy. Not Chick-fil-A manager material. Maybe more like Taco Bell. Anyway, I was very disappointed with the service I received tonight. Simply terrible. I think very highly of Chick-fil-A which is why I felt the need to write...
Read moreI worked here a while ago and the experience was literally traumatic that I still remember it to this day. I'd give it less than one star if I could. Everyone was hostile and nasty and talked bad about everyone behind their backs. I felt like I wasent treated like a human at all. I was even accused of stealing money from the register at one point. They'd send me on my lunch break when I was less than an hour into my eight hour shift, then make me stand there the rest of the time, not giving any other breaks, would yell at me if I asked to even use the restroom. Would also be yelled at by the night manager at the time (her name was Alex) for not working "fast enough" (she always complained about this no matter how "fast" i was trying to go) and belittled in front of other employees. She was a "wonderful" person to work with. The worst management I've ever experienced in any job I've had before or since I left this place. Wonder if any of them still work here. Big shoutouts to this place being the worst job i've ever had. Do yourselves a favor and never work here if you're...
Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience at this Chick-fil-A due to one of the employees. A worker with a blue shirt and red hair was shockingly rude, condescending, and unprofessional during my visit. From the moment I approached the counter, she seemed uninterested and dismissive. When I asked a simple question about my order, she responded with a sarcastic tone and an attitude that made me feel like I was bothering her.
To make matters worse, she was loudly talking and laughing with her coworkers the entire time, completely distracted from actually helping customers. It was clear she wasn’t focused on her job and had no interest in providing good service. Customer service is supposed to be a priority at Chick-fil-A, but this experience was the complete opposite. Instead of kindness and professionalism, I was met with eye rolls, snarky remarks, and an overall lack of respect.
I understand that everyone has bad days, but there’s no excuse for treating customers this way. Management should seriously address this behavior to ensure a better experience for...
