This place is located near hollywood walk of fame so if you do not wanna spend more and want to get something chinese then visit there. Atmosphere was fine, service was ok, little bit was hard to explain what you want but i won't blame them for that. Seems like everywhere in LA restrooms are locked so you need to ask key for the restroom which is quite weird. Now come to the food part,i ordered lamb fried momos and veg chicken fried noodles. Momos if i have to rate then i will give zero. Sorry about that it was just like a momo was filled with small piece of lamb which is just want to come out so bad. It doesn't taste good as well, completely flat taste. Maybe people can assume i don't know about chinese food but i had much better food in good chinese restaurant and food cart so i would still say it was bad. Now come to the veg chicken fried noodles, it had few spring onions in name of veg and few pieces of chicken. I didn't find it tasty as well. My other colleague also didn't finish their food completely. Weird thing is they put tip amount by themselves like they do not trust people never saw this before. Anyways I gave 2 star coz of location and not that much expensive in that particular location. Rest you can go and...
Read moreFirst off, the food is great. Everything was tasty and really well priced. Easy to get a table and a pleasant and clean atmosphere.
The service needs a lot of work. When you walk in there's no clear instruction on what to do. No "wait to be seated" or "order here" near the register. When I went up to the register to ask, I was handed a menu and told to sit at a table. Great I thought, this is more restaurant style. After a few moments a waiter came up to take my order and when I asked for a sparkling water, he rolled his eyes, turned around and handed me one from the refrigeration case. I couldn't tell if he was annoyed and if I was supposed to have taken it myself? Soup dumplings arrived but no spoon. By the time the waiter came back with one they had already started to go cold. Whatever, I finished my meal happy enough and waited. No one came by to see if I needed anything, see if I wanted a dessert? Eventually I got fed up and asked someone how to pay and he said to go up to the register, so I did and left.
Run your restaurant however you want, but help your customers understand what to do. Save everyone the frustration...
Read moreThe worst food I’ve had in a long time, as evidenced by the food remaining on the table when we left. Everything we had was disappointing. The hot pot was flavorless…the dumplings were underwhelming and my kid didn’t like the chicken soup at all. My sister is the only one who ate even part of her meal. What I also found to be interesting is the fact that they basically rush you to order all your food at once, as if they somehow know you won’t be satisfied. Most restaurants have NO problem taking an appetizer and drink order and then subsequently returning with those items before taking entree orders, but no this server was pressed to rush us through the process. I’m baffled at the reviews here. $105 down the drain. Avoid this mediocre...
