As someone who appreciates healthy and clean eating, I was on the hunt for vegan options and stumbled upon this restaurant online. It had decent reviews, with many raving about their infamous shawarma sandwich, so I decided to give it a shot.
Upon arrival, I was met with a less-than-welcoming representative – an Asian guy with earrings – whose attitude caught me off guard. The infamous sandwich was priced at just $6, which made me skeptical about the quality of ingredients used. Regardless, I decided to try it out. The unfriendly guy prepared my order hastily, and upon taking my first bite, I was instantly disappointed. The vegan meat was chewy and undercooked, drowned in a gooey mess of overpowering sauces. The natural flavors of the vegetables were completely lost, and to make matters worse, there were hardly any veggies – just onions and subpar pickles.
In summary, both the food and service were a letdown, and I won't be returning. I even felt the need to drink a detox tea after the few bites I took. If you're seeking a healthy meal, I wouldn't recommend this place. However, if you're just looking for a quick, cheap bite to curb your hunger, it...

My order was atrociously incorrect. We had ordered one chicken shawarma and one vegan shawarma without garlic, plus za’atar fries. Instead, we were given two chicken shawarmas. I found this out after biting into the sandwich, my first time eating meat in 10 years. When we pointed out the issue, one staff member insisted that “you ordered two chicken,” but after checking, admitted one was vegan. They remade the vegan shawarma but still added the garlic sauce, which we had specifically ordered it without.
The fries were also tough and not fresh. When we mentioned this, the staff dismissed it, saying “it’s just the timer, we can’t do anything about it,” and refused to remake the clearly old and hard fries (picture attached).
On top of the disappointing food, the only tablet for ordering was dirty (sticky with residue) and when we asked for it to be cleaned so we could order, it wasn’t actually done.
This was by far the worst Falafel Inc we’ve...
Read moreThis place is delicious. Though I’m middle eastern I’m not really into falafel but I’m already planning to go again. My wife is a falafel fanatic and she loves this place. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The craziest thing is the sandwiches are under $5 and are worth at least $10, especially in West LA. We tried the vegan shawarma sandwich (which was amazing even though I’m used to eating the meat version), the falafel sandwich, and zaatar fries. Since I’m not really into falafel, vegan shawarma or zaatar I would’ve never tried this place but my friend highly recommended it and my wife likes falafel and zaatar so we tried it and now I’m hooked. The goodies they add to the sandwiches and the very tasty sauces they have make this place so good. My kids loved it and more importantly finished all...
