Gran Blanco in Venice absolutely blew me away! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, laid-back vibe and the kind of effortlessly cool decor that makes you want to stay all night. The aesthetic is beachy-chic with a touch of modern elegance — think neutral tones, soft lighting, and perfectly curated details that feel like a scene out of a design magazine.

Now let’s talk about the food — WOW. Every dish we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. The flavors were bold but balanced, and you could tell everything was made with intention. Whether you’re a foodie or just looking for a great night out, this place delivers.

But what really made the experience unforgettable was our waiter. Attentive without hovering, friendly without being over-the-top, and genuinely passionate about the menu. He gave great recommendations, checked on us at all the right times, and made us feel totally taken care of — it felt like we were dining with a friend who wanted us to have the best night possible.

I would have given this place 5 stars until I witnessed the GM berating and disrespecting my server outside (but still in view of myself and other customers). My waitress was a lovely woman who was more than accommodating to my friends and I. However, we witnessed this blonde woman (who we ended up finding out was the general manager) talk so disrespectfully to our server (who I’d like to add was a woman of color) and then as we were leaving we witnessed her talking down and raising her voice at our server! I called myself and told the GM (who I later found outs name is Rachel) what we had witnessed her do, and she continued to be inappropriate and try to justify her actions instead of apologizing for her abhorrent behavior. I was visiting my LA friends from Pennsylvania and they insisted we go to this place for their music and ambiance but after the blast any disrespect t of the employees, We will not be returning. I would never support a business that allows management to speak this way to staff ESPECIALLY IN EARSHOT OF CUSTOMERS! Vile and disgusting display of Human behavior. Either fire the GM or send her to a sensitivity training so she can learn to regulate...

I wouldn’t even give one star if that is a possible option. We had a long day traveling and wanted to have a nice place to sit and enjoy a dinner. However, we asked to our waitress Caroline H if they have any soda, she replied something very silent and unenthusiastic (while the music was loud), and in the end gave us two glasses of vodka (which we hate)! Also, one of our dish is octopus, it was totally burnt on the surface. It was unbearable to swallow! Besides, we did not get any greetings or services at all during eating (while the next table did get the questions like if their meals are fine). In the end we have a bill with 2 glasses of vodka untouched and awful food we were not expecting at all. The worst thing is the 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill!!! While paying, I even have to choose if I want to tip more, I swear to God this is the first time ever for me in a restaurant of United State choosing no tip! This dining experience just made my bad day 1000 times worse and I have to leave...
