Grandma's Deli Babushka — Restaurant in Los Angeles

We were loyal customers of Grandma Deli for years. My wife was driving from West LA to buy deli food to West Hollywood sore (they have another location at Valley Village). The service is always great and the food is delicious. Up until today. Most of the Deli (prepared food) we got today was over-salted. I just got off the phone with Grandma Deli (Sorry to hear about your issue, we sold all our stuff and everything was ok, no we won't take back the food and won't issue any refund - no store credit was offered).

To the owner of the store, you have strange and damaging policy We are shopping at your store (my wife, not me) once a week for an average $80-100 It is $400 a month / $5000 a year. We used your services for last 3 years so I spent at your place about $15K But your biggest problem is not loosing me as a customer, your problem that I will make sure that all my friends will know about my experience with your store. I had a wonderful experience here. It was a cold day and I needed a coffee to warm my hands and I felt like exploring a little so I came here to avoid the beaten path. This little family owned and family run establishment treated me with hospitality like I was coming into their home. I not only procured an expertly made cappuccino, but also took home with me some prepared food that was absolutely delicious, and definitely homemade. I enjoyed meeting everyone who was there and Konstantine, the owner, even kindly gave me a chocolate truffle to enjoy with my cappuccino as gift. I will definitely be back. I couldn’t have asked for a better reward for trying...

Definitely the best grocery store with products from the countries of the former Soviet Union. Here, you can find everything you’ve missed and loved so much from your childhood. One of the most important aspects is that the products are always fresh, and the food is incredibly well-prepared.

I also want to highlight the friendly staff. It feels like they select employees with the best sense of humor and a special kind of energy. I drive all the way from Agoura Hills just to shop here because it makes me feel like I’m back in my hometown, Odessa.
