I used to love this place very much and I always did take out once a week or more sometimes. Everytime I feel tired or feeling not well their pho always confronted me. But a couple days ago I had an unpleasant experiences. That my bag was stabled as always and I never questioned it, but at this time my pho noodle and meat were missing. I find out this when I got home, I wasn't able to drive back because the parking issues as living in L.A. They did delivered my pho that was really nice of them. And as I was eating I found a long black hair and I pulled it out of my Pho since that I have lost my appetite. I called them back if they can just cancel my pho but they didn't seem to understand and made me feel like if I am lying about it.I mean once I filled out of the hair, I can't put it back in the pho just to take picture to prove it lol. I am not that kind of creedy person at all.It breaks my heart that I had this experience and the owner or the manager didn't handle this issue with care. I understand that hard time because of the pendamic issue and I have been loyal customer to this place specifically during that time. I paid for it and I wanted to eat my pho but my pho went for waste at this time. Which is why I need refund or credit for the next time to give one more change. I lost my trust of eating...
Read moreCame here with my family and nephew for dinner after Universal Studios on a Sat night. Came in and was semi-greeted so I guess that would ok or it could be better. They weren't that busy so we got seated right away. 7 minutes later, they came back with our menus when after we told them we're ready to order our food cuz we know what we want. But yet the waitresses came back 7 minutes later to take our orders. Again, that could better. Took our orders and the food came out within 10mins so that was a big plus. But what didn't come out was what want for our kids (two extra bowls and a pair of scissors). We have to ask them for a pair of scissors 3 times while my kids sat there hungry. Not good. It should be brought out at the same time as they broughy the water for us. So when they bring out the food, we be ready to give food to our kids but they couldn't eat their food because we didn't have the scissors to cut up their food. Despite all that, their pho (#28) and #32 was very tasty. No bad I should say. Their #32 was very tasty, spicy and good. A+ for that. But had a bit more lemon grass in it than I thought. Over all, their food #28 pho and #32 Vietnamese noddles was on par ! 5 stars for that! But as far as service goes I would give them 3.5stars. That could...
Read moreThere isn't a lot of places to eat near Hollywood and Vine, but it's good to know that It's Pho Hollywood is around for pretty good Thai and Vietnamese food.
It's located in a strip mall off of Franklin. Currently there's construction on Franklin, so from our hotel at the Everly Kimpton, we chose to detour on Hollywood Boulevard (also because it was dark).
It's a very small restaurant, and luckily there was a table big enough for our party of five. I was on this strict diet, so I opted for the chicken salad with peanut sauce on the side. There was some miscommunication, so they also put the pan-fried chicken on the side. But either way it was a pretty good salad, that also came with carrots, cucumbers, and crispy noodles.
The rest of my family ordered pho and noodle bowls. My dad enjoyed the meal so much (he tried everyone's dish), that he came back the next night.
Parking is really tight. If you're staying at a hotel nearby, it's easier to walk. The metro also isn't a far walk. Though, I walk a lot living in San Francisco, and my friends say my "short" walks aren't short at all..
Remember to check in to get a free...
