This café absolutely blew me away. Despite the Sunday brunch crowd, we were seated quickly, and our server couldn’t have been more welcoming—genuinely warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The entire staff was friendly, and the space was impressively clean, including the restroom (a brunch rush miracle!). We ordered the Huevos Rancheros, Banana Walnut Flaky French Toast (an absolute standout—so buttery and crisp), the Smoked Salmon Benedict (incredibly fresh salmon and a perfectly balanced hollandaise), and the Lemon Pistachio Cream French Toast, which was unique, bright, and rich in the best way. Nice atmosphere and the service was fine but the food ... By LA standards $18 for a Cobb salad is standard but this place is clearly a big fan of Sysco - turkey, black olives, salad dressing - straight out of a bulk delivery truck. When you spend a buck fifty on salad ingredients - being generous here - and charge $18, don’t expect patrons to rush back. Not that anything was bad - its just that nothing was good. The side of fries - mediocre and yet again compliments of chef Sysco. The wife had huevos rancheros and poked and prodded trying and failing to work up the courage to actually eat whatever it was on the plate in front of her. The michilada she ordered was watery. We had plans to visit another spot, but the bakery was closed on Saturdays, so we set out to find a new gem! I was a bit hesitant at first since it had only 12 reviews, but I decided to take my wife on an adventure to try it out.

I ordered the Santa Fe scrambled, which is a mouthwatering mix of chorizo, eggs, onions, cilantro, and crispy tortilla chips, paired with a side of tater tots. Oh my goodness, it was absolutely delicious—I can’t recommend this plate enough! My wife opted for the Desperado burrito, and she raved about it, saying it was so tasty that she could only finish half due to the generous portion size.
