These are spectacular chocolates. I love the fact that this little shop Is tucked away on a side street in my neighborhood, and that the chocolates are made on site. There are many different flavors, but one basic concept. Almost all of the chocolates are the shape of a small bar, with a texture that, to me, is halfway in between fudge and a first-class truffle. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that they are pricey, and in the couple of years I have been buying them, the price keeps creeping up. A single chocolate, which admittedly is large enough and rich enough to be sliced into at least 3 or 4 pieces, is now $3.75. It's beginning to feel like, even though the neighborhood is anything but Beverly Hills, the prices are very definitely Beverly Hills. Read moreI went to WeHo to have lunch with my daughter and her girlfriend, walking back to my car we discovered this little chocolate shop on a side street. OMG, most everything was gluten free, unlike Sees which does not label the ones that have wheat. They feature my favorite chocolates, caramel, nuts and sea salt, yum! These are the best chocolates I have ever tasted even better than Chuao Chocolatier from San Diego. Please open a shop in Manhattan Beach or sell them in one of our fine beach boutiques. Thank you LivingSocial for the special on a John Kelly Tower. I was saving it for my three day Christmas guests, but sorry to say, it will not be available. And since I am an avid fan of chocolates, I didn't hesitate giving this shop a try. I got there around 3 in the afternoon but there were few people ahead of me in the line. I was pretty excited for my turn. I bought dark chocolate espresso and one of their fudge bars. I saw one of their weird products. Weird because I didn't know a chocolate and an orange fruit could be eaten together so I also ordered orange strip chocolate to know how it tastes like. And WOW! It was quite delicious. So good and worth trying. The best chocolate I have in a long time. The next time I visit this place, I will try few of their chocolate coated fruits.
I highly recommend john...
