wondering what to do for date night? nonstop sushi is the spot. we came for early dinner at the marina del ray location where we enjoyed the patio and perfect sunny weather with our dog. we ate and left no crumbs.

the food: we ordered a signature yummy yellowtail roll, a classic spicy salmon roll, and indulged in the nonstop sushi special. the nonstop special comes with 8 pieces, and we picked halibut (FRESH fish, just got in yesterday) spanish mackerel, yellowtail belly, and salmon belly.

i gasped when i put the the yummy yellowtail roll in my mouth. the yellowtail was so fresh and it was a perfect blend of cilantro and ponzu. it was perfect - i didn’t even need to add any other condiments to it. the spicy salmon roll was a classic, time-tested recipe. the nonstop special was so delectable - the fish was as smooth as butter.

I can't believe I didn't know about Nonstop Sushi until now. It's SO good! I'm allergic to seafood to always on the hunt for sushi places that have good cooked, non-seafood options so that I can go out to eat with my sushi-loving friends and everyone is happy. This place is perfect.

Don't be fooled by the cheesy name and strip mall location. Inside, the decor is low-key elegant and minimalistic. Super modern and clean. Service is very nice.
