Room Number 13 — Restaurant in Los Angeles

It was the end of an amazing first date, we are having our first kiss (yes it was intimate but not much tongue, and we had our hands in appropriate places) anyways our waiter interrupts us and says "theres family here" it was midnight, we were sitting in the very back bar lounge area where there should definitely not have been any kids back there especially at the time. (midnight)

I would've given this place 4-5 stars because the hostess was great but I wish they hadnt let kids into the bar at midnight on a friday, this little girl kept wandering by our table and just lurking near us even though her table was not nearby, it was super awkward and weird)

what was good though was our russian hostess, she was amazing and had actually chosen the great table and she helped the date start off great, the lounge singer was also great and i love the old school hollywood glam decor

the drinks were pretty good too, i got the spicy mia margarita and i like how the bartender mixed it

but ya the waiter was not outrightly rude nor mean, he was polite yet i def heard a passive agressiveness to his tone (also before, when my date had gone to the bathroom and the waiter came by i tried complimenting him on the restaurant and instead of a simple "thank you" or a smile from the waiter, he instead answered in a weird "okk.. okk.." (but i was being very nice and complimentary of the restaurant so that was weird and already threw me off) I hope the waiter doesnt get in trouble, but he definitely needs a talking to and to let adults be adults and to completely solve the problem is by following the law and not allowing children into bars...

From start to finish.

There was a gentleman at the door who was extremely helpful and got us the information we needed and directed us to the correct person as well.

The singer for the night was very amazing as well, powerful voice that carried through the building.

The drinks were well made and were presented nicely as well. The price could have been better but that's not a big deal for me.

Now the negatives:

Waitress was a nice person but the service could have been better.

We reserved this place because it was marketed as dinner and a show with a magician. The magician was non existent and the singer sounded great but we were seated in an area on the side in some morpheus chairs where we didn't get a direct view of the singer.

We asked for new seating and got rejected due to other reservations. Which is fine but our experience felt Like we weren't included in the experience.

Our seating didn't provide back support while eating so that was a bit uncomfortable as well.

If we knew that we wouldn't be in view of the singer and magic wasn't going to be provided, we would have simply went to dinner at a different place.

Lastly, the food was mediocre and lacked creativity and flavor. The food was cooked to the correct temperature and...

We went there last Friday night to the 9:30 show, food was mediocre but the server hector was amazing Drinks were super strong but they are about $19 a pop plus the automatic gratuity. The show was amazing, with great staff The only issue here is that we were sat next to these three girls who were yelling and screaming the entire show, they even got an actor in trouble accusing him to trying to steal their purse when he was in character and he then had to come apologize and comp the girls drinks They smelled like marijuana as they were smoking and drinking like crazy but the horrible part is that no one asked them to leave even when screaming and yelling at the magician, server and other people participating. I had a migraine from their screams and wanted to exit before the show was over but out of respect for the magician we stayed. Another issue is that you can also get sat in the back of the tall people so you will not see anything , that's what happened to me. Couldn't see anything but hearing these girls screaming was the cherry on top. I would have asked for my refund but really the manager should have asked the girls to exit instead of the entire staff and guests having to deal with it Server kept his calm and I hope they...
