Sasoun Bakery — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Ive been here a few times just because of there borek that is very good most of the time (sometimes is more dry than usual). Service is horrible Ive had a female with dyed blonde hair help me and she is not very welcoming she has rolled her eyes at me for no reason and shes very vague, This morning I took my children to buy from the bakery as they really enjoy the boreks, and this lady did the same and not only that instead of saying the total she tells him “Pay” and rolls hey eyes. Adore this bakery in Santa Monica. I stumbled across it when I was running an errand in the area and could see they sold burek. I have loved borek since eating in turkey many years ago and have since tried in various places, both on my travels and in LA. Sasuon is an Armenian bakery that serves the most amazing cheese burek, so full of flavor and the pastry is among the best I have had. I got carry-out for lunch from here yesterday and everything was nicely packed, no leaks or greasy paper. They have great menu that is very cheap. The low prices mean you can enjoy this food for lunch no matter what time of the month it is, no waiting for payday like I have to do with some places I get lunch from.  Everything in the bakery is delicious,  the  meat pizza is my favorite as it tastes fresh and the meat is such good quality for the price.
