For dinner I ordered 2 two chicken Caesar salads one with bacon, There was a sign posted about 1.25 up charges for chicken, fine but when I got to the cash register I was charge like an additional 2.95 I asked why? If your sign posted a different price the worker with teal ponytails said The sign hasn’t been updated yet. They also try to overcharged me double for items that were already included, like Parmesan cheese 🙄 They took off cause I had questions on why was I being charged? Its is included in a traditional Caesar salad price 🤷🏽♀️. That’s sound like a them problem, and should have been Taken down when the price was changed. I said you should honer the price posted she said no. when I asked for my receipt they was reluctant to give me a receipt instead they printed me up a mock version of my order without itemizing I feel if you have something posted up for everyone to see you should honor the price posted and not charge what you want and hope that no one will notice, and train their workers better, not highschool drop outs. What happened to customers is always right.? The topping on the cake I didn’t get the pita bread, cause they always out 😒This will not be a location I would visit...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of Simply Salad for over a decade, but after today, I will never be returning—and I’m deleting the app. I waited an hour for a wrap that then sat on the counter for 20 minutes before I finally got it. When it was made, the employee couldn’t even wrap it properly, causing half of it to fall apart. Instead of remaking it correctly, he scooped the contents up with his hands and transferred them to another tortilla, leaving behind a mess.
The entire operation was chaotic—zero organization, no communication, and no teamwork. During a busy time, you’d expect a well-oiled system, but instead, it was pure disarray. To make matters worse, when a guest asked about the long wait, a team member actually responded, “Do you want to come back here and make some?”—a completely unprofessional and unacceptable way to speak to a paying customer.
No matter how many great experiences I’ve had in the past, this visit proved that the current team is incapable of providing even basic service. Simply put, they no longer deserve...
Read moreIt had been roughly two years since my last visit to Simply Salad. After embarking on a 4-mile hike at Temescal Canyon, my hunger led me and my companions to contemplate dining at a different salad venue. However, the memory of Simply Salad, renowned for its diverse and inventive salad options, redirected our steps there. Upon arrival, it was apparent that the establishment had undergone a significant makeover, now mirroring the sleek, open-plan design of places like Sweetgreens, where the food preparation is visible and inviting. The staff distinguished themselves with their courteousness, even going so far as to offer a taste test of a dressing, thoughtfully served in a small cup with lettuce for scooping. Their service was prompt, efficient, and friendly, complementing the spotless, welcoming environment. The ingredients on display, especially the lettuce, were notably fresh and vibrant. I was thoroughly impressed by the overall concept and execution. I highly recommend visiting Simply Salad for an exceptional...
