Escape and reimagine Ktown LA life with @seoulsalon_la . Seoul Salon Restaurant and Bar is beautifully designed to send you back to the 1920s and it sets the tone for an incredible night with your friends with an extensive Korean food and drink menu. The restaurant manager Charles was amazing and very helpful in suggesting yummy menu items to order.

This is what we ordered: Crab Meat Seafood Cream Pasta Kimchi Fried Rice Corn Cheese Grilled Skewer Platter Brisket Yuzu Salad Kimchi Carbonara Pork Belly Pasta Gambas al Ajillo Grilled Octopus Garlic Popcorn Chicken Seafood and Half Kimchi Pancake Watermelon Soju Punch

The Watermelon Soju Punch is a great start that is fun and refreshing. The large ice scoop sized watermelon balls are mesmerizing to see as those balls bob up and down in a pool of soju, tequila, tonic, sprite and triple sec. Some of my favorite items of the night has to be the Garlic Popcorn Chicken with Pieces of Chewy Rice Cakes, Crab Meat Seafood Creamy Pasta, Kimchi Carbonara Pork Belly Pasta and the Grilled Octopus.

Seoul Salon was inspired by a popular Korean Drama, Mr. Sunshine. Mr. Sunshine is a historical, romance and melodrama K-Drama and if you have not watched it, I recommend binge watching 24 episodes on Netflix. Seoul Salon's interior is beautifully wallpapered, there are vintage accents throughout, the large mural of the Mr. Sunshine inspired characters is beautiful and in the corner there is a photo booth where the cost...

First off, the ambiance was just perfect. It strikes a balance between modern chic and cozy comfort. The sleek, contemporary design sets the tone for an elegant dining experience, while the warm lighting and comfortable seating make you feel right at home.

The outdoor seating area proved to be a brilliant choice. The temperature was just perfect, and it allowed us to relish our meal while basking in the fresh air and natural surroundings. What impressed us most was the impeccable service. Even though we were seated outside, the attentive staff ensured we were never forgotten. They consistently checked in to see if we needed refills or anything else, making us feel truly valued as customers.

Now, let's talk about the drinks. I decided to go with the Haeundae Blue cocktail, a delightful concoction made with rum, coconut milk, and pineapple juice. Not only did it taste heavenly, but its striking blue color made it a perfect candidate for Instagram-worthy photos. The balance of flavors was just right, with the alcohol content not overpowering the tropical essence.

As for the food, we couldn't resist sampling some of their offerings. We ordered the fried chicken & fries, and it was a decision we didn't regret. The fried chicken was expertly prepared, boasting a crispy exterior that gave way to succulent, juicy meat inside. The fries were golden and seasoned to perfection, making for an ideal accompaniment...

This lowkey spot is the perfect place to host a large group dinner since it’s in the middle of a lot of bars/clubs in Ktown. Also, it’s not too loud inside and has an intimate setting so you can hangout with friends in a comfy space☺️

The service here was great since the staff was rly accommodating to our party of 12 and helped combine 3 tables for us 🙏🏻 The food here was also really solid and my favs were the: mentaiko spaghetti and garlic popcorn chicken🤤 The drinks were also flowing allll night so that made the food taste even better🤣👀

Overall, this was such a fun & memorable night I’ll be back again💃🏻
