The lunch buffet is a steal at under $10 out the door, and the selection is pretty good. They keep the naan coming fresh out of the oven as you go. There are several options for both meat and non-meat eaters. The flavors are good but not amazing - but definitely good enough for the price tag.
Everytime I've been here the place has been relatively empty, so in and out is quick and easy, and it's easy to get the waitstaff's attention. If you're looking for a bustling social restaurant experience, this place is not for you (that it's been a while since I've been there, and that could have changed.
If you come after 3pm you have to order off of the dinner menu (no buffets), and the prices are in the $10-$20 range if I remember correctly. I've only come once for dinner because at dinner prices the place is less of a bargain.
I could drive a few minutes and go to my favorite place Tara's Himalayan and pay about the same, for exceptional flavor.

Read moreThe staff was really nice and friendly but the lady chef was rather rude....... 1.we were telling one of the staff members to double check if there was egg in parantha.....my mom being allergic ...but the lady abruptly interrupted to order rice if we dont believe them......i mean it was such a polite request 2.and to leave that case alone.....the dal we ordered was clustered....so we asked the staff about it...who took it to the chef and the lady came in a very digusted mood telling us ,'dont you know whats rajmah...then??!' And left... The food wasnt also authentic as some people may claim....soooo if only you are very much craving indian food ....it will be good enough to fulfil your hunger...and thats it.... If you are an indian tourist as i was .....you might be really disappointed to observe that far from your land you recieve greetings from others and harsh words from your own native people let alone the fact that you can wait to go back home and have food rather than eat it...
Read moreThe ambience could be a little better. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but I'm not a huge fan of red lighting at night. Makes me feel like I'm in a Redlight district or something. It was very dim, and the decorations were a bit outdated.
The service was good, and the family members who run it do a good job about making customers feel welcome. I got the chicken korma, which was $10. It came with rice, which is nice. However, the rice didn't taste like basmati rice, more like jasmine. The Korma itself was good, but didn't have a rich a flavoring as some of the other places I've been. Not sure if this is a more authentic version of the dish or not. My friend got a salad and the chicken tandoori, which he said he liked very much. I tried a bit, and found the chicken to be well-cooked and not bone-dry and hard.
The sweet lassi was delicious....my first time turning down mango lassi for...
