Overall, I did enjoy my anniversary dinner here. There were some issues I had, however, which I will share below. I wish I could give 3.5 stars, but I'll be generous and stick to 4 for this review.
First off, getting seated was easy and our server was very friendly. The service itself, while friendly, was a little bit slow and inattentive, however. It took a while to get our cocktails/wine, and to find the server for ordering more drinks or other food items/dessert.
One more thing I'll add about the service, and I don't want to sound nit-picky, but I added a note to our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary. We got nada. Now, I never EXPECT to receive any free drink or dessert, but I always appreciate at least a friendly "Happy Anniversary!" or just anything at all to recognize it! But alas, NADA from the hostess or servers.
Now, as for the food itself, it was all absolutely wonderful! The pastas (especially the Cacio E Pepe!) were flavorful, creamy, and delicious. The pizza had a perfectly cooked thin crust and I loved the cheesiness and fresh toppings on it. I will say, however, that the Calamari (which they make a point of saying on the menu ONLY comes with lemon and NO sauce) was quite expensive for its meager size or (lack of) accompaniments. That brings me on to another point.
The menu is too pricey for what this restaurant is!! I loved the atmosphere and more casual vibes of the restaurant! The more stuffy, fine-dining Italian restaurants aren't particularly my favorite, so enjoyed the open, airy, casual feel of Terroni! What I didn't enjoy were the prices that are basically fine-dining restaurant prices. Especially the appetizers! I personally felt the Calamari was WAY TOO expensive for what you get.
Nevertheless, the pasta and pizza at this restaurant were both excellent. If you can stomach the slow-ish service and the slightly overpriced menu, I would still recommend trying it out! ...Perhaps just not for an anniversary or other...

Read moreIf there was a chance to give zero stars i would have. The hostess refused to look at us or talk to us for approx twenty minutes as a walk in. We then found a table outside ourselves that was free and the hostess okayed us to sit there. After waiting another 20 minutes we went inside to confirm why we hadn't seen a waiter. The hostess laughed and commented she had forgotten to tell anyone we were there; 'ooops" not "sorry". We then ordered and received a salad and asked for balsamic vinegar on the side. The waiter and second waitress confirmed that though they had balsamic in the kitchen we could not get some even if we paid additionally which we found confusing. Then the manager came out an told us we didn't have to eat at this restaurant and could leave - because we requested Balsamic and no changes could be made to the recipes. Basically the management leads a policy of rudeness and "the customer comes last" in favor of average Italian recipes and pizza. We noted this attitude from our first to last encounter with any staff .For average Italian food it is not worth the aggravation and unfriendly attitude to eat pizza and salad there. I eat in amany restaurants around the world and this is the worst dining experience i...
