Overall, I did enjoy my anniversary dinner here. There were some issues I had, however, which I will share below. I wish I could give 3.5 stars, but I'll be generous and stick to 4 for this review. First off, getting seated was easy and our server was very friendly. The service itself, while friendly, was a little bit slow and inattentive, however. It took a while to get our cocktails/wine, and to find the server for ordering more drinks or other food items/dessert. One more thing I'll add about the service, and I don't want to sound nit-picky, but I added a note to our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary. We got nada. Now, I never EXPECT to receive any free drink or dessert, but I always appreciate at least a friendly "Happy Anniversary!" or just anything at all to recognize it! But alas, NADA from the hostess or servers. Now, as for the food itself, it was all absolutely wonderful! The pastas (especially the Cacio E Pepe!) were flavorful, creamy, and delicious. The pizza had a perfectly cooked thin crust and I loved the cheesiness and fresh toppings on it. I will say, however, that the Calamari (which they make a point of saying on the menu ONLY comes with lemon and NO sauce) was quite expensive for its meager size or (lack of) accompaniments. That brings me on to another point. The menu is too pricey for what this restaurant is!! I loved the atmosphere and more casual vibes of the restaurant! The more stuffy, fine-dining Italian restaurants aren't particularly my favorite, so enjoyed the open, airy, casual feel of Terroni! What I didn't enjoy were the prices that are basically fine-dining restaurant prices. Especially the appetizers! I personally felt the Calamari was WAY TOO expensive for what you get. Nevertheless, the pasta and pizza at this restaurant were both excellent. If you can stomach the slow-ish service and the slightly overpriced menu, I would still recommend trying it out! ...Perhaps just not for an anniversary or other special occasion.

Terroni, a hidden gem in the heart of the city, is a culinary haven that beautifully captures the essence of Italian cuisine. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere transports you to the sun-kissed streets of Italy. The rustic charm, combined with the aroma of freshly prepared dishes, sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Among the culinary delights that steal the spotlight are the grilled calamari—an exquisite masterpiece that embodies the artistry of simplicity. The tender calamari, kissed by the flames of the grill, offer a delightful combination of smokiness and tenderness that bursts with flavor in every bite. It's a culinary journey that takes you straight to the Mediterranean coast. But the gastronomic excellence doesn't stop at the calamari. Terroni boasts an impressive selection of wines that perfectly complement the rich and diverse flavors of the Italian cuisine they serve. From robust reds to crisp whites, each sip enhances the dining experience, turning every meal into a celebration of flavors. For those in search of authentic Italian cuisine, Terroni is a culinary haven that surpasses expectations. The menu is a symphony of traditional dishes, lovingly prepared with the finest ingredients to capture the true spirit of Italy. Whether you're a connoisseur of pasta, a lover of fresh seafood, or a fan of delectable desserts, Terroni's menu has something to delight every palate. As an Italian myself, I can confidently say that Terroni captures the heart and soul of our culinary heritage. It's not just a restaurant; it's a celebration of food, family, and the joy of sharing a meal with loved ones. With its charming ambiance, exquisite grilled calamari, and exceptional wines, Terroni is a true testament to the magic of Italian dining.

Deplorable customer service, second time at this place that could be our new neighborhood local hangout. We came a week ago and looked forward for our second time here, happy hour became a sour hour, careless service, small bar sitting and outdoor spaces are the only granted for happy hour. Although, they offered you a table inside when is full, just to let you know after you place a order that this section does not participate on the happy hour, shame on them. Pizza is not Italian style, so far pasta is ok, it could be better though, if they don’t have the sitting area for happy hour clients at least they shall inform patrons before they are sitting . We paid a full price bill and bad service. However, two steps away from us my friends paid happy hour menu with a smiley bartender General Manager and owner, do something about this, issue and your food. We will not come back, we miss Soto, it was always great!

If there was a chance to give zero stars i would have. The hostess refused to look at us or talk to us for approx twenty minutes as a walk in. We then found a table outside ourselves that was free and the hostess okayed us to sit there. After waiting another 20 minutes we went inside to confirm why we hadn't seen a waiter. The hostess laughed and commented she had forgotten to tell anyone we were there; 'ooops" not "sorry". We then ordered and received a salad and asked for balsamic vinegar on the side. The waiter and second waitress confirmed that though they had balsamic in the kitchen we could not get some even if we paid additionally which we found confusing. Then the manager came out an told us we didn't have to eat at this restaurant and could leave - because we requested Balsamic and no changes could be made to the recipes. Basically the management leads a policy of rudeness and "the customer comes last" in favor of average Italian recipes and pizza. We noted this attitude from our first to last encounter with any staff .For average Italian food it is not worth the aggravation and unfriendly attitude to eat pizza and salad there. I eat in amany restaurants around the world and this is the worst dining experience i...
