DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME AT THE CENTURY CITY LOCATION! I went there for the first time and was excited to try their food. I ordered their Milanese sandwich with no cheese. I repeated the "No cheese" twice at the register and saw that it reflected on the register. Couple young kids working there. The young guy named Doug is who assisted me. As I was waiting for my sandwich, he was on his cell phone the whole time. I asked him to just please double check with the chef that there is no cheese as I am highly allergic, he said "don't worry, there will be no cheese". Fast forward 20 minutes later when I'm finally home and open the sandwich to eat and yep, there is melted cheese. I had to trash the sandwich and go out again to reorder dinner. Completely upset, I called the store and spoke with Doug, explained to him why I was upset and would like to speak with a manager and get refunded for the least. He did not apologize and just offered a phone number to their manager, Patrick. I called Patrick and left a voicemail, no response, called second time still no response. I can't even understand the lack of their customer service. The fact that I had to worry so much they would get the order wrong and inquire then to be assured it wouldn't be and still managed to...
Read moreI came in here because i was hungry and really in the mood for a sandwich and saw they had impossible meatball sandwiches. Sounded good. The vegan provologne they use is follow your heart which is fine. What isnt fine is the INSANE price of the sandwich. It was $21 after tax. For that price a bag of chips and soda should ABSOLUTELY be included. It wasn’t some giant sandwich either. It was like 3 meatballs and a couple slices of cheese. But they didnt even melt the cheese it was all just in pieces and in the end i dont think i even got one morsel of melted cheese in my meal. Also, instead of sub bread they used just two pieces of i guess ciabatta and literally everything fell out the second i took one bite. You cant have a meatball sub on regular bread. The meatballs were good i guess but they were literally just the way impossible makes them. So in the end all they did was microwave a couple meatballs and throw some spaghetti sauce on the bread. The place was clean and cute but id never come back. Or at least i wouldnt get the impossible...
Read morePrice in store for chicken milanese advertised at $15.5- price online ordering through Google maps/chownow is $19.95. Be wary ordering through any retailer except in store directly as the managers will NOT be willing to adjust on differential AND store applies a huge markup that people placing online orders may not know about (price difference was not advertised).
I placed an order for pickup 1 minute before entering store thinking it would save time and ended up paying almost $5 more difference. Sandwiches are already pricy enough here, shame management is not willing to adjust in situations like this (hence my review).
Youre better off checking out other sandwich shops in area that dont gouge their online orders like crazy and their menu items reflect...
