If you’re looking for a home-cooked style meal in Westchester, Wacky Wok is the place to go. The food here is flavorful, fresh, and comforting, exactly what you want from a neighborhood Chinese spot. We ordered the Orange Chicken, Chicken Chow Mein, and Mongolian Beef, and all three dishes were excellent generous portions, well-seasoned, and satisfying. The staff is incredibly friendly and really go out of their way to make you feel welcome, which adds to the warm, local vibe. This is the kind of spot where you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first visit. Parking can be tricky since it’s on a busy stretch of Sepulveda Blvd. There are a few spots in the back, plus street parking nearby, but it’s best to give yourself a few extra minutes to find a space. Overall, Wacky Wok is a hidden gem for anyone who wants delicious food with a personal touch. Great for takeout or a casual dine-in meal. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area

I am very happy with my experience here at Wacky Wok , Westchester City location. I’ve seen this place for many years and awkwardly glanced and passed through it. But yesterday was my first time tasting the food here. I gotta say it was so delicious and fresh tasting. I ordered the beef chow fon and an order of New York style egg rolls, which are like a small burrito. They have a great crunch and mouthful bite, compared to the traditional veg/egg rolls. The Chow Fon was so flavorful and the beef wasn’t old and tough chewy meat substance texture. It was fresh beef and just the right about of tenderness to compliment the noodles, green onions and bean sprouts. Would highly recommend to locals and family friends!! Thank you Wacky Wok for the delicious experience.

I ordered on Uber Eats and it was such a disappointment. I was expecting to feed a family of 5 for the $85 I spent, but the food all arrived overcooked and dry (except for the lo mein). The entrée portions were also very small, which didn't matter because nobody wanted to eat it anyway. Even the white rice, which was the main item that they gave us, was dry. The flavor was also not good. The seasoning for most items was bland, except for the salt and pepper wings, which were severely overcooked.

I Ate here on April 24th, when I received my food the utensils were dirty, I was then given new utensils when I requested them and those were also dirty when I asked for those, so I just asked my disposable utensils since those "shouldn't " be dirty. I paid for my meal which was $22 something for just myself. The young man Johnathan offered me a complimentary replacement meal for the incident. He wrote down my name and number and said next time your meal is on us. Today (4/30/2025) I called in advance to let them know I would like to claim my replacement meal as I was currently on my lunch, the young man who answered said sure no problem, we'll have that ready for you. I got there and he's discussing something with the cook and you can hear the cook telling him that he's not going to make the meal and refuses to do so. So the young man tells me I'm sorry but you should come another time when Johnathan is here so that he can replace it. I said sure, how will I know when Johnathan would be here? He said oh maybe Friday. The cook then interviened, and said "look lady, if this happened on the 24th, why are you barely coming now? You should have came in 2 days later". I told him I didn't know there was a time frame when to calim my replacement meal, and I do not crave chinese food everyday. The cashier then began to yell at me refusing to make the meal and said that's your fault, to which I responded in not such a nice way back! So just because "the cook" did not want to make a meal he did not mess up on, he REFUSED to make mine? To which it was already a REPLACEMENT meal?! Wtf?! I don't want the meal at this point, I just want that Mexican cook fired! And I'm Latina, I was talking to him in Spanish asking why he didn't want to make my food, and he was rude non stop! It was about cleanliness. The spoons were both dirty, and the Asian cook grabbed his personal soda, filled it up, drank it on the cook line and proceeded to grab the raw vegetables with those same contaminated hands and make the food. He didn't bother washing his hands. I'm pregnant and cannot have undercooked foods and obviously contaminated food. Literally do better, or get shut down by the health department, which I'm...

Extremely disappointed. Very bad service at this location and will never be returning. I ordered a beef dish thinking that it would be a lunch portion size (as it was the afternoon) but it turned it out to be a MASSIVE plate enough to feed 4 people. That would be great if I was starving but I wasn't. I politely asked the waitress if I could send the remaining 3/4's of the plate back and pay for a lunch sized plate, as I had a meeting nearby and the food would go bad in my car. She said no that she could not do that, and was unwilling to work with me. She also took about 10 minutes to run my card even though there were only 2 other customers in the restaurant (now I know why). So in the end, I ended up paying $17.11 for a plate of dull tasting beef that I only ate 1/4 of, with an unfriendly waitress to boot. I only write reviews of this nature when I feel an establishment deserves it, and unfortunately this one does.

(Edit - the $17.11 included taxes and a $1 tip. I never EVER give a tip below 20% but she was that unhelpful and downright...
