YUMMMAY - succulent crab get in MAH BELLY!

PARKING: Apparently there's a small alley in the back, but I found street parking around the area. There's a residential street one block west of the restaurant, so you may be able to catch some free parking.

FOOD: -banchan: This is one of the best selections I've had. Winners were cheese corn, seafood pancake, bean sprouts, broccoli. -Spicy crab stew: Our medium order came with two moderately sized crabs. Table service includes breakdown of the crabs, and then they simmer on a gas burner at your table. It was a bit difficult to get to the meat, but there were quite a few of "crab lollipops" where you could bite and get most of the meat out! This is not for the faint of heart and for those only "meh" about seafood. Crab lovers only! Broth had nice flavor, and they even make kimchee fried rice for you at the end of your meal with the leftover broth! Amazing.

SERVICE: We had to flag down our servers a bit, but use those korean service buttons! They respond super fast when called.

We came here on a Friday night after making reservations earlier in the day. We were looking for soy marinated raw crab and decided to give this place a try since it has reservations and Crab House on Vermont doesn’t. I honestly have to say I’m so glad I found this place, hidden gem in LA. The crab was delicious but what really made it was the perfectly cooked rice that has fish roe, sesame oil, and seaweed salad on it! We also ordered seafood pancakes, and the braised short ribs. I am from out of state. I went to various restaurants here while visitinf but this place takes the cake as being best and memorable! The auntie that runs the restaurant cooks everything herself. Please be patient if she is alone because her family like demeanor and cooking will make it ever worth so while! Shes was also very generous with side dishes(banchan) and was honest about portion control(some places just wanna sell you a lot so they make more $$$).
