Fire Oven Pizza — Restaurant in Louisville

i normally don't write reviews but this has to be acknowledged. i ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza with a drink, an older male (owner) rung me up for two combos. once i was given the pizza(s), i paused in confusion and said i wanted only two slices. however, he insisted that i meant two combos. so as the miscommunication was present, i asked for a refund. the older male refused to give me one and walked back to the counter. frustrated, i saw another male (his son?) and explained the misunderstanding to him. during the explanation the owner told me it was my fault and that since he's the owner he doesn't have to give back money along with cursing at me. i began to go on my phone to contact a higher up from the building to have this situation resolved. with that, the son? decided to give me a refund but said i would not be able to return, while also mentioning how the building is his (also?). very unprofessional, lack of hospitality and communication skills. would not recommend to anyone as if something is not to your liking, they will not help...

I ordered the pesto garlic butter pie, and the honey barbecue wings via door dash. I originally wasn’t going to leave a review, but there’s something about these wings that I can’t hold my tongue about. There are two different flavor combinations that they use that are bomb. Honey barbecue and some other kind of spice. This flavor is the closest that I’ve come to good food or anything close to what I’ve experienced in Atlanta. I moved from Georgia to Kentucky and the food from these high star rating restaurants has been bland in comparison to what I’m used to. These wings bring it back home for me. Lots of flavor, savory not salty, not too much spice, just the right touch. I’m not used to pesto, so it was a first for me and I rate it a 7.5 but the wings are definitely a 10 out of 10 for sure. I highly recommend. Definitely trying other food options...

We called to ask if they served halal meat and twice I called and the lady said yes .. when I was at the store I asked and she said yes, then the younger staff worker overheard and said "no no nothing is halal here , we used to have halal chicken but not anymore" .. I'm glad the girl let us know but I felt like that's a big thing to make sure your staff knows if you've stopped serving halal meat. We had ordered a meat pizza and it got cooked before we found out it wasn't halal.. but then had them switch it to a veggie one and they were nice about replacing it.
