Best Drive Through Customer Service Experience in my life: first words we heard were "Welcome to Starbucks, how can I make your day just a liiiiiittle bit better??"
We are from out of town and we're on our way to the zoo with our kids and stopped at Starbucks as always when on the road in need of coffee. The guy on thr drive through was named CJ and he is literally by far the best, most friendly, happiest human being we have ever encountered at a drive through window. We were welcomed with the words "Welcome to Starbucks, how can I make your day just a liiiiiittle bit better??" (Yes he emphasized and stretched out the "little bit better"). He said the drinks back to us correctly, with enthusiasm. At the window he was just as friendly in addition to being quick with the drink hand off and payment process.
CJ then took our 2 straws, pulled halfthr paper off each, and handed them out thr window, keeping the end with the paper still on them in his hand. When my fiancé pulled the straws out of his hand, it was done so that CJ kept the remaining paper off the other end of the straws to be thrown away and we got just our straws. Maybe you just had to be there but I'm telling you the man has straw skillz. You've gotta be darn good for me to be impressed with how you hand me a straw, lol.
Before we pulled away, we aknowledged his outstanding customer service to which he just smiled and said "I practice". Then he asked us if there was "anything at all [he] could for us, a nice cold ice water perhaps?".
We own a business and unfortunately it's negative reviews that get the most attention. So I just couldn't leave this experience unrecorded. This may not make you go to a Starbucks if you weren't already going. It may not be enough to drive the extra miles to go to the one in Louisville on Taylorsville Rd. But if you're there and a guy named CJ with tons of positive energy flowing out of him takes your order, recognize it's one if a kind customer service...and ask to see thr...
Read moreAnother fantastic visit to Starbucks. We've been visiting this location more than any other in Louisville simply because this one is one of the few that have the latest operating hours of all locations in Louisville. We have to drive down from Oldham County every weekend to shop, eat and enjoy civilization in Louisville, and we usually go to the various Starbucks that close from 10 to 11 pm on the weekends. Now that this Pandemic has wrecked havoc on all our lives, the hours have shortened at all locations. Thankfully all locations are back open by now, but I don't know if I'll ever get ust to these altered and shortened hours. That, and not being able to use the restroom are the biggest inconveniences.
My father always sticks with his classic hot chocolate, and my pups get a pup cup (with a lid). In the past my go-to drink was the caramel frappuccino (I'm allergic to chocolate), but now my fav drink is the Matcha Green Tea frap. It's light and smooth, and I'm able to drink a grande without worrying of a sugar or caffeine overload. My other two go-to drinks are the Peach Green Tea Lemonade and the Berry Hibiscus Tea. Always in a Trente, light ice and 7...
Read moreMe and my girlfriend Heavenly were sitting at Starbucks this morning minding our own business not bothering anyone and the manager called the cops on us. She claimed they’ve been asking us to leave this 4:30 this morning (they never did) and she claimed that we were bothering customers (we weren’t) and that we spit on staff (when we didn’t). The police and the store manager of that location said we’re permanently banned from every single Starbucks location in Louisville and the police said if he or any other officer sees us at any Starbucks location in Louisville we’ll be arrested and charged with criminal trespassing. My dad and Chuck agreed it was discrimination because the Starbucks manager and the cops know we’re homeless. I’m going to get us a lawyer and file a discrimination lawsuit against Starbucks and the LMPD (Louisville Metro Police...
