My family and I ate at your Hikes Point location last night 12-26-19. It is one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. We call ahead we had a party of 13 for my son’s birthday! We arrived at 6:30 our table was ready. We received our drinks and the waitress took our orders. Then after 45 min we asked about our appetizers were told not sure what is going on in the kitchen everything is behind. Then after another ½ the manager came out who was very rude and said they were having a very slow all day around $600.00 and got slammed went to $7000.00 dollars the waitress had made some mistakes and it would be another 1/2 hour. Now mind you I really do not care about all his problems he should have apologized and went on, but he had a definite attitude and was very rude. The waitress apologized and walked away and next this you know he is back at the table. Even worse than the first time and using foul language in front of my grandchildren and me. He said he removed the chicken alfredo and nachos from the bill. Well first we did not eat it and second the alfredo order was not correct, and the nachos were cold and greasy, so we sent them back. Which he argued with me about and I told him he needed to walk away because he is very rude. Then finally a young lady came out and made more excuses for him and that he had only been there 2 weeks and throwing the waitress under the buss again. Let me tell you she was your only saving grace of the evening!! She did give us a slight discount on our meals. You would think if you are new you would be on your best behavior!!!!!!!!! So, we finally received our meal and did not leave until 9:00 PM. In between all this he was arguing with the customer behind us. So, you might hear from them also! He should not be a member of management. He needs fired or sent to management boot camp. Speak to our waitress she will tell you I am not exaggerating and the other female manager (I think). So, tell the gentleman I use this term lightly! Thanks for ruining my son’s birthday and all of our...
Read moreFirst off, I just want to say I have spent several hundred dollars in this particular Wicks over the past two years, no exaggeration.
Anytime I order a stuffed bread wick, I ask for a pizza sauce to replace the marinara and it's never a problem.
Today they decided to charge me an extra dollar but if you buy an extra cup of pizza sauce out right, it's a dollar so essentially I was just buying an extra cup of sauce. Well in that case I should get the marinara sauce as well. I mean, if your company is going to be chintzy with side items, then I want what I paid for. But my question was deleted from their Facebook even though I just wanted an answer as to when this was implemented. It wasnt even a complaint. Because in future orders I would simply want to know if I was going to be charged or not. They even made a point to call me and let me know they were going to charge me and asked if that was okay. I wouldn't mind except it's never happened in the past, and when I asked the girl on the phone, she couldn't answer me and she simply said that's what she was told to tell me. Normally I would be fine with this, a dollar is definitely not going to break my bank, but it's just the sudden manner of implementation of this charge without an explanation, and then to delete my comment on Facebook without even addressing it. That's just bad business practice. I'm just going to give you all an extended break and take my business elsewhere for a little bit. Which is sad because I really enjoyed my lunch, but this little incident left a bad taste...
Read moreWent in to place a takeout order yesterday (6/20) and no one inside was wearing masks. I was asked if i was dining in by the host (no mask) and said no just wanted to place a togo order while I run into Kroger next door. I was told I could only come in if I was eating in, due to COVID rules. Keep in mind this guy didnt have a mask and none of the customers inside - and there were people inside - were wearing masks either. I was frustrated but said okay can I get a menu to look at at least, and he gave me one. So I'm standing in there little entrance looking at the menu and a woman that works there said I was not able to stand there. I assume she was a manager, when I said to her 'hey I'm wearing a mask, your not and neither are all those customers in there.' She treated me like I was the one being unreasonable, and just said those are the rules, just go out to your car and call in your order. I will never eat at any Wicks again. I love the mighty meaty, but you know what, Bearnos is just as good and their service is much faster anyway. Why support a local business who makes it hard to give you their money nor do they REALLY care about personal safety, just want to give the appearance that their half-baked COVID safety makes them responsible. I really hope someone in their management sees this, but I will probably also send an email to their...
