My family has been eating at this restaurant since it opened. We have been regular customers for many years. The last few years this place has consistently gone downhill. We keep giving them another chance as they have been our go to restaurant since my now-in-college kids were little. The last few years, they keep updating their menu - which is restaurant speak for finding any way they can to charge more for less food - or less expensive food. They recently made a big deal about bringing some menu items back, and we were happy to see the chicken strips were not soggy anymore. The fajitas still are not close to as good as they used to be even though the price is 20% higher than just last year. On our most recent visit, I ordered a half rack of ribs and a side of grilled shrimp. What a ripoff. If you look at their menu, every picture of a half rack of ribs is 5 or 6 bones, which is typical considering a full rack from a butcher must have at least 10 bones in it and often has up to 12. They brought me a cut of rubs with 3 and 1/2 bones. I say a 1/2 because the last bone was the small end of the rack and was only an inch and a half long. The entire piece of meat - bones included - was definitely less than 6 ounces. Keep in mind that ribs retail for less than $ per pound and Chili's pays less than half of that. The shrimp were brought out in a two inch sauce cup and even then you had to look to see them in the bottom. A side order of grilled shrimp was 6 pieces of small shrimp - when I say small I mean the 60 shrimp per pound small. They weren't even full shrimp. The tails were cut off and they were more like half shrimp. 6 shrimp of this size is already only one tenth of a pound, but after being mutilated, these were less than an ounce of shrimp combined. They did not look grilled at all. They looked like they had been warmed in a sauce pan. Keep in mind this was a full priced entree for these two items with only a handful of fries on the side. It was literally pathetic. At retail consumer prices, there was less than $3 worth of food on the plate. It is ridiculous when a restaurant gets to the point that they feel the need to overcharge AND still deliver insulting portions of food. Both of the items on my plate were a literal why bother - why even pretend that is a serving? It is insulting to your customer. It's too bad this place has bottomed out this far. They used to be a staple that a family could trust for a...
Read moreI recently dined at the Chili's in Loveland, Colorado, and I feel compelled to share an experience that was more disappointing due to the management than the food itself.
I'm not one to make a fuss at restaurants—I usually keep quiet even if something isn't quite right. This time, I ordered a steak medium rare, but what I received was far from that. The steak was clearly undercooked and inedible. Despite this, I didn’t plan to complain; I simply set the plate aside.
However, what happened next is what really soured the experience. The manager, Abel, passed by our table and seemed to notice my dissatisfaction, yet he chose not to address me directly. Instead, he sent the waitress back to us to deal with the situation. She was kind and understanding, suggesting that the steak should be comped since I had barely touched it. I thought this was a reasonable solution, but unfortunately, Abel did not agree.
After checking with Abel, the waitress returned to inform us that "it's policy" not to comp steaks, and instead, they offered a dessert. By then, I had lost my appetite entirely and declined the offer.
It was incredibly disappointing to see a manager prioritize rigid policies over customer satisfaction. A simple gesture of comping the meal would have shown that they value their customers, but Abel's unwillingness to do so left a very negative impression. It's clear that the management at this location lacks the discretion and care necessary to ensure a positive dining experience.
Because of this, I won't be returning to this Chili's location and would caution others to consider the quality of management before choosing...

My family and I dined here to celebrate my mom’s college graduation, but our experience was ruined by negligence and poor service.
A Piece of CERAMIC in My Food I ordered the Southwest Egg Rolls, and while they tasted good, my last bite contained a sharp, jagged piece of ceramic—likely from a broken plate. I spit it out immediately, but the fact that this even happened is unacceptable and dangerous. Was there more in the food that I didn’t notice? This is a major health hazard.
Terrible Service from Staff & Management Conner, our server, gave me water instead of Sprite when refilling my drink. Did I still get charged for the Sprite? The manager (a woman with dark brown hair in a ponytail and acrylic nails) walked right past my empty drink—even though she was holding another table’s beverage—and didn’t bother to check on us. Despite all this, we still tipped because we’re not the type to punish servers unfairly. But looking back, the lack of care from both the server AND management did not deserve it.
No Apology, No Accountability We didn’t complain at the time because we were trying to enjoy our celebration, but now I regret not speaking up. How does a piece of a plate end up in my food? Why did the staff ignore basic customer needs?
Chili’s needs to retrain their employees, especially on food safety and basic attentiveness. I will never return to this location, and I advise others to **think twice...
