Subway — Restaurant in Lower Paxton Township

Overall okay subway store, but I am annoyed because I just tried to used a coupon there at lunch time, and the cashier stated to me, "for some reason I cannot accept that coupon.. it looks like it may be one of the ones that we're only supposed to accept at dinner time, but I'm not sure.. I could get fired if I accept it."

So basically, she was unsure if she could accept it or not, but didn't bother to ask any other employees or a manager. Then she asked me if I had the "rest of the coupon," as if I should have been carrying around the entire sheet of paper the coupon originally came on.

She did apologize, but never actually gave me a valid reason why I couldn't use the coupon, and she barely even glanced at the terms and conditions. She then told me that I should "call corporate."

It would have saved me a total of $.91, so I am not even worried about saving under a dollar. I don't usually complain about little things, but the way it was handled...

I walk in tonight to use my coupons I got in the mail and the employee/ worker says read the sign. I read the sign and it says we don’t take paper coupons. Then it listed sandwiches which coupons work for. Maybe they meant coupons from the app? All in all not really impressed. I mean the whole reason we went there was because of the advertising which Subway sent me in the mail. So the owner / management gets the advertising but doesn’t honor / participate with the offer central to the advertising. What a messed up little franchise. I heard subway screws it’s investors / franchisees but seriously what a mess. I ended up leaving without getting anything. The only sandwiches they offered at special on were the $5.99 every day subs. Confusing sign. Confusing policy. Confusing coupons. Confused customers. Good luck...

Be careful ordering online from this location. They advertise as offering the bogo foot-longs but be careful they will give you a free sub but upped all the prices to $25 for a foot-long. Other subways offer the same deal and subs are $9 for foot-longs literally less than a mile from this location. When ordering on the app be sure to check the prices of other near by locations to make sure your actual getting a deal and not paying more than you would have for 2 foot-longs not on special. If you order here and get the bogo you will pay $25 for 2 subs but order down the rd not on bogo and you get 2 subs for $20. You’re not getting a deal when you order here. Never in my live will I pay $25 for 1 12inch sub. Especially from the McDonald of subs. I would go to a real sub shop and still pay...
