So to preface I’m writing this review a couple of days after my visit to make sure that everything is accurate and not emotionally based. I have been a waitress before, and my family has been part of the service industry for years, so this is a representation of (simply put) an awful experience. My sister and I went out for a lunch date to the TGI Fridays located in Williamsport PA. Once we were seated it was approximately 10 minutes until our waitress arrived at our table to introduce her self and get our drink orders. We told her that we were ready to do our full order, drinks appetizers and entrées. Sidenote from the moment that she introduced herself she had a very bad attitude toward my sister and I when we genuinely don’t know her, have never met her, and didn’t do anything to provoke her. In fact we were both very kind to her despite her facial looks toward us and her attitude at any question or requests that we had. Approximately 15 minutes later our appetizer was delivered to our table. We got the sampler appetizer with the three different things and the first boneless wing that I cut into was barely room temperature and the consistency of food that had been sitting out for a few hours. It just seemed like they had been mixed together with discards from other tables. When our waitress did not come back to our table after 15 minutes of us having our appetizer I had to get up and go ask the hostess to bring our waitress to our table. Once our waitress arrived back at our table with her snarky attitude, we explain to her that the boneless wings we’re not hot at all. I was shocked that her response was just stare at me as if “what do you expect me to do about this” Until finally I smiled to get some form of response out of her and she looked up and said “I’ll take care of this for you” She walked back to the kitchen and it was no more than five minutes later, what I can only assume was the manager, brought out a new plate with boneless wings, that were nicely displayed. As she apologize profusely for the wings not being hot she was setting the plate down in front of me and before the plate touch the table I noticed there was a silvery blonde hair that was laying nicely on top of them. Again, nicely I smiled and said, “I’m so sorry to have to say this, but there is a hair on here...” and pointed to where it was. She then said “oh my goodness, we really aren’t doing our best today are we?”. She then picked up the plate and walked away with it. By this time we had been there for about an hour already, and people that were seated right before us were on their way out. Another 5 minutes ish later a waiter who in my opinion was the nicest of them all, delivered a new plate of boneless wings to us stating “I double checked and there is no hair on these” and kind of laughed. Then asked if he could get us anything else to which I asked for an extra side of their sauce. His responses were so friendly saying “of course!” (Another side note, hands down ask for the guy with purple in his hair if you decide to go) he brought me a side of sauce, and then a few minutes later our entrees arrived at our table. My sister needed a refill of her drink and the waitress as usual for this experience rolled her eyes at the request. Not once did we see the manager again to make sure everything was fine. Luckily, my sister and I have an interesting sense of humor and we were able to laugh about literally every moment of this lunch the entire 40 minute drive home. 0 out of 10, would not recommend. Read moreA few friends and I who I had a strong craving for Friday’s, unfortunately the closest Friday’s to us was Williamsport and it is two hours from where we all live. We made an impulse decision to make the drive, and satisfy our cravings. To say the least, we were not entirely impressed as we hoped. We expected impeccable service, and excellent food. We felt that we were bothering our waitress whenever we would ask for something, which left us feeling uncomfortable to ask for something. My one friend substituted coleslaw for macaroni and cheese due to his allergy, and he did not get the macaroni and cheese with his meal. He did end up getting it at the end of the meal, and they took it off the bill and still gave him the item to go which was a nice gesture. My other friend asked for sweet potato fries with her meal since her diet does not allow her to eat regular fries, and she was told they did not have them. The waitress said it in such a was that there was no other option for her and gave her a blank stare as opposed to offering another alternative. Another friend of mine asked for mushrooms on his burger, and again the waitress said we do not have them, and seemed bothered that he asked for them. The real icing on the cake was when I got my debit card back there was a mysterious white slime on the front of it, which I do not even want to know what that could have been. I am immunodeficient and I do not take COVID-19 lightly, so seeing this white substance on my card was definitely a scare to me. Overall, my two hour drive to this Friday’s was not worth it. They did not have key items that my friends really wanted, and they were not out of the ordinary request. We also did not think the service was up to par. We all were displeased with the entire performance and I do not see myself rushing back...
Read moreAbout once a month my girlfriend and I visit this restaurant on our break for a mid afternoon lunch. Have always enjoyed it which is why we return. We sit at a booth in the bar and the bartender has always been very friendly with us. But today, I arrived before my gf which is not unusual to have a beer until she arrived. While being seated by the host the bartender was talking to the patrons in the booth right beside me. She was literally standing 3 feet from me occasionally glancing at me. I sat there for 5 minutes patiently listening to her talk about football with the customers in the booth beside me. Then I got my phone out answered a few emails and read a few news articles. I could not believe that she was ignoring me while standing 3 feet away. So I set the timer on my phone for 3 minutes and decided if she didn’t at least greet me by then I was leaving. The timer expired, I stood up and looked her in the eyes and left. There was no attempt to say hello or stop me from leaving. We are gracious tippers because we are both in the restaurant business and I rarely write bad reviews because I know how difficult these jobs are. But what happened today is absolutely inexcusable. I hope the manager looks at the surveillance video to verify my review. We will...
